I'll tolerate the no headphone jack and no software updates of meizu if they can give easy way to unlock bootloader so custom roms can be made and flashed. Please go back to notchless and no punch hole fullscreen display design

why a phone need more powerfull vibration lol

Anonymous, 02 May 2020It would have been more pleasant watch there the audio jack... moreMeizu's last flagship that came with an 3.5mm audio jack was Meizu 16th (Meizu 16 in China).

Six months back had it for $240 brand new in India. Fully Google certified with Google PlayStore pre-installed. Specs were Snapdragon 845, 8 gigs of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 gigs of UFS2.1 internal storage. Dual SIM 4G VoLTE support with no memory card expansion. Great photo capibilty with high quality top of the shelf Sony sensors. In short a pretty powerful and compact device with a beautiful no notch 6 inch Samsung AMOLED display and exemplary build quality. Best looker and best design asthetics of all flagship phones I owned.

Audio jack sound quality and headphone drive capibilty is much superior than any Samsung, Huwaei or Onplus flagships. The only reason why Meizu phones does not sell well is due to its lack of software support. At least globally don't expect any Android version upgrades. However the version it comes loaded with is very clean and performs admirably. I find no hiccups on software part on my 16th till now.

Meizu's last two flagships the Meizu 16s and 16s Pro did not have audio jacks as they have chosen the God forsaken Apple path where you need to dish out more money for their truly high quality Meizu audio dongle.

Their are 99.99% chance of Meizu 17 not havinga headphone jack. Else their dongle business will go out of business. It will hurt their revevenue as they will be

Meizu's flagships use horizontal linear vibration motor rather than cheaper alternatives. This technology was first pioneered by Apple and Meizu uses the same. Nothing comes close to the haptic feedback of my Meizu 16th, not even my LG V30+, Honor View 10 or Vivo NEX S. The moment you press the power button and switch on the phone my 16th will provide an unique haptic feedback which in terms in hand feel is second to none in Android phones.

They sell full Google certified devices like my Meizu 16th (Meizu 16 in China). However only few models are released here and they are far and few between.

Meizu is also quite popular in France and Russia.

I dunno man, that seems a lot more than just a single country. I'm certain you think because they don't have stores in america that means they only sell their phones in China.

I mena, yeah, no one want a huge brick, but there is no need to make the phone thinner than a finger...
Half an inch or between 1 and 1.5cm would be thin enough to be comfortable and large enough to have lots of great features !
At least they could make it as large as the phone + camera bump...

                  So a vibrator...!!!!

You can't have all 4, even recent gaming phone, they have headphone jack and stereo speakers but still no microSD.

How can a company lead in anything in this market when it is confined to just one country?

The other 190+ countries will definitely disagree with that ridiculous assessment.

In terms of offering high quality haptic feedback, Meizu has been leading the pack since several years ago, among all android phone makers. Meizu is not merely following the suit.
