I think S20 is struggling because of S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite , there are lot many phone samsung launched with a less price differences which makes confusion among the customers.

AnonD-926702, 06 May 2020well ... samy does demand the highest price ever for their ... moreDr. X post is correct. To add, I think Samsung also made a mistake by charging too much at launch. Right now however on samsung dot com they lowered prices by a lot, but in-doing so they burned their customer base by overcharging the first adopters. That and I think samsung made another mistake, they should have implemented the ultra camera setup on all three S20's. Example, my wife has an S20, likes it, she had a S8 before and loved it. now her friend went and bought an S20 ultra, and now my wife is kind of disappointed because she saw the camera difference on the ultra is so much better. Samsung should have just released 2 high-ends, the S20 size, but with the same camera setup as the ultra, keep the ultra for people that like larger phones that don't need Note functionality. The S20 is max size for my wife's smaller hand's, but she expected maximum camera capability from this high-end. Since she paid the high price at launch, and now using a phone she likes but slightly disappointed since she does not have the best camera that samsung has to offer, doubtful she will buy samsung next time. The S20 should have the top camera setup. soon the Note 20 will be out, not necessary to have 4 high-enders, samsung is not providing that high-end camera niche that smaller hand sized people want. they should have had the best camera setup across the 20 line, and in my opinion not even bother with the plus. 3 high-ends are all they needed, all 3 should have the ultras camera. (S20, ultra, and note 20) that's what they should have released. And if the issue is the ultra camera setup wont fit on the smaller sized, then get back to the engineering drawing board and make it happen.

PartTimePhoner, 06 May 2020Them being apple folk changes nothing Exynos sucks. Thro... moreCompeting processors goes up and down aver generations, Samsung has also sold flagships with Snapdragon processors that performed so poorly that Google had to change the core to throttle them and subsequently causing Samsung to lose face and lawsuits about it.
The difference between the current Exynos and Snapdragon is nowhere near as bad as that was, and still Samsung keeps selling phones with Snapdragon processors.
Next gen it looks like the pendulum will swing over on the Exynos side. Maybe you are right, that Samsung should stop selling phones with two different processors, but Qualcomm would have to stop being patent trlls for that to happen as that is what blocks them from being able to focus 100% on their own processor development.

well ... samy does demand the highest price ever for their flagships in a time where people loose their jobs so thats not surprising glad i got mine for almost free in a new contract, i would never ever pay more than 1000 bucks for a phone no matter what it brings to the table

Exynos sucks. Throttles more, performance is worse and has shorter battery life. Stop the exynos idolization.

They shouldnt be used on flagships. Fine for midrangers but not a good flagship chipset

My phone has Exynos 9610 and it works fine. Still worse than SD660 when gaming. Battery life is good tho. It does work goof on MIDRANGERS.

they pretend we pay $1000+ for a "flagship" phone and those "flagships" are unable to configure a google chromecast by using only its fantastic 300 mbps 5g or 30 mbps 4g connections, they do it on purpose so we still need to pay a home internet connection

Maybe if they didn't treat half their customers like trash and give them S20's with Exynos in, they would have sold better.

Also I think most people in Europe would prefer a Snapdragon 865 version and not exynos so that's another problem in Europe

Lots of errors in the write-ups lately on this site.

"In total the company sold 89.46 million units this March, 4.3% down compared to February."

Wrong. The number of '89.46 million units' is for the total world-wide shipments from all smartphone makers in March. Samsung sold less than 19 million units of smartphones in March. (Samsung sold a total of 59 million units in the first three months of 2020.)

” In total the company sold 89.46 million units this March, 4.3% down compared to February.”

                              ThatÂ’s whole lot a phones!
