My contract ends in couple of weeks and im just tired os samsung, huawei or any mainstream brand offers with humongous nothes and punchholes here in germany. There are a lot of good value high end phones from china and this o e is also exceptional. Definitely on my list.

1080 x 2232 this is ideal display Resolution, keeps height vs width in good balance. Instead of making ph overly tall & narrow.

There are two main reasons as of why:
1) Meizu's own audio dongle business will go out of business. It will hurt their revenue.
2) The ever increasing array of image sensors inside the phone it eating up a lot of space. My Meizu 16th (Meizu 16 in China) had two on the rear and this one has four!!!

flat displays are the best ,good luck MEIZU ,that's the right way, great design and great specs ,keep going cuz these days other than IPHONE most of the manufactures switched to curved displays which is a very wrong decision ,curved displays have a reflective coating and when you look at them ,they looks cheap and not practical ,

Anonymous, 06 May 2020It clearly has a flat display....Yeah, I based that on previous information where it all stated it would have curved display, who knows if the phone in the picture is the render of the 17, but I hope it is true and it will be flat, then it's a really safe buy for me if the price is okayish.

Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus, Realme, Iqoo.. and every name has sooo many product line which have little differentiation each other.

Marvelm, 06 May 2020Unfortunately, it seems the Pro will have a curved display.... moreI think the Pro version has the same screen and body. The difference is the body made by ceramic and has wireless charger. Maybe the Pro version also has the larger capacity of RAM or storage.

This phone is really piquing my interest. It sounds so good (in paper) thus far.
If the phone has a headphone jack and a large screen, I'll probably get it.
