Exciting two months lay ahead for Redmi.

This was sorta expected. The technology itself isn't that expensive, but the research definitely is. This is how a new network tech gains ground. First they sell overpriced stuff, then then reduce the prices. Same happened in 4G.

I bet, in one year there will be $150 phones with 5G. (Unless they ban it for health or other issues).

One has to come to a conclusion based on the availabe data or Information. Likewise, not just based ony my own circle, but from the Internet, forums, reddit etc.,. I came to this conclusion. People who buy cheap mobiles, most of them Change their mobiles within 2-3 years. It is not the same case for flagships though.

I see plenty People saying they still use Sony Xperia Z series either as main or back up. I can say same thing for apple (not only just in USA but throughout the world). But how many People using Xioami from 2015 or may be from 2016???
I doubt the same Thing for Samsung S8 :).

The Mi 10 Lite has 5G (Snapdragon 765G).

Both cost 350 euros for the minimum configuration, though.

Hooray for cheap 5G phones! I remember reading some comments, just a few days ago, from people who wanted to see some phones with the new Dimensity SoCs. Well, here you go!

I expect more phones to come with the Dimensity 800 chipset, in the coming months, as the 5G competition moves to the lower mid-range segment.

Fact will be that people will go with that for sure over SE 2020 as thats made for people who use apple anyways and i dont see much of the people who think that 1800 mAh battery is a good deal for this 500 euro price tags for just a smaller phone. And who cares it has bionic a13 in it when you wont play games on so small screen anyways and for other things you just dont need all this cpu power and games eat battery fast. And never mind that apple phones problem is that in cold weather there battery will drain fast too. At least with all who i know that have apple phones complain about it.

Anonymous, 06 May 2020Because people that are buying redmi can't afford switching... moreThats just dumb thing to say. People know there priorities they need out of phone so they can change it in every 2 years. Changing 200 euro phone every two years makes more sense to buy one 800 euro phone and change it after 4-5 years to next one that cost 800 plus. While changing phone every 2 years you can have 8 years of phones as 4 phones that get all updated and stuff for the 1 phone that dies out in 5 years cause the battery wont last half a day even by then and your forced to get new one. And i really dont see a reason why 200 euro phone cant last that 4-5 years. My 2 years old redmi note 5 ai dual cam works well and battery still last 3-4 days for my use with it. For me just does not make sense to pay more then 200 euro for a phone when i hardly use it as my phone last 3-4 days with one charge while heavy users cant get trough even one day with there 600+ euro phones.

If your fallowing a trend then that does not mean your smart when you buy 600 plus euro phone and change it after 2 years when your leashing time is over as there are not much people out there who buy out the phone in day 1 with these 500+ euro phones. But then again there are lots who buy out the phone in day one with these up to 250 euro phones
