[deleted post]Guess, it depends on where you buy it. 6.2 had four versions, 2 of them 3gb, and 2 with 4gb ram.

The current odm are at top so as their manufacturing.
With FIH there are lots of issues like the most charging slot issues just search over internet lot of people complaining about the hardware because fih looking every time profit from HMD Nokia phones and thats the result.

I bought the first NOKIA 6 android phone and have had it for almost 3 years. It has not had a single problem with software or hardware and it is very solidly built. I dropped in numerous times, not a scratch. It doesn't overheat,it's fast enough for general usage and the display is good enough too. Judging by this phone,HMD Nokias are as good as the old ones.

It seems that they are even outsourcing that to cheaper manufacturers. Low quality ones as their latest phones show clearly. With the most generic chinese design and also dated and old hardware, like this one SD67(5) in mid 2020, with price tag of 300 euros? Carol shame youself! (:

.... Those HMD Global Oy phones is made in and by Foxconn, since 2016, and at the begining, but lately, it seems that they are even outsourcing that to cheaper manufacturers (since Nokia 4.2, 3.2, 2.2) - you can find on Google all..

Now 'Nokia' stand in smartphone world for low quality ones as their latest phones show clearly. With the most generic chinese design and also dated and old hardware, and for so!e unknown reason big price, same as this one in mid 2020, SD67x? At least 300 euros? Shame you self! Haha

Competition exists for some reason and thanks to that one customers obtain more that they would without it. And Nokia sales show clearly that they did things badly while the hype lasted. Now they are out with cheap dated products at high premium prices. As simple as that.

Anonymous, 07 May 20206.1 was the best phone in 6.x series. 7+ was the best 8, ... moreAgree. Nokia's 2018 lineup were the best. The trio of Nokia 6.1, Nokia 7 Plus & Nokia 8 Sirocco where pure Nokias. A material first led design with good specs. And of-course the original Nokia 8 of 2017.

To me Nokia 6.1 is a masterpiece in craftsmanship just like my Nokia 7 Plus. Nokia 6.1's body is carved out for a single block of 6000 series aluminum to start with. It takes a hour to mill out the body from the block. There is no stamped metal parts for decoration here. In the next 10 hours it goes through the unique two tone anodization process. First the phone is dipped in an anodization pool where the bare aluminium uni-body receives the desired color, for my Nokia 6.1 it's blue. Then a cutter is used to shave the blue anodized aluminium on its both edges, creating the unique diamond cut edges. A second layer of anodization process is then applied on the diamond cut edges to have the desired edge colors in my case gold color. Thus the two tone Blue/Gold anodization process gets completed. The phone uni-body is then polished 5 times for roughly 2 hours to provide the incredible satin like feel in hand. Entire process takes over 13 hours to complete.

An die cast metal mid-frame is then screwed internally to the metal body which reinforces the core of the device. No less than 19 screws locks the internal metal plate to this uni-body which gives Nokia 6.1 it ultimate structural integrity & durability. This is an approach to engineering that is build to last. A Scandinavian design focusing on quality, design & craftsmanship with an incredible attention to detail. After all great engineering deserves bold designs just like Nokia 6.1.

No wonder it won prestigious smartphone design awards in 2018 like from the Chicago Athenaeum: Musuem of Architecture & Design and also one of the most durable phone of of 2018 by JerryRigsEverything.

It is pity smartphones of this design caliber & internal strength are not produced anymore. Not even by Nokia. I love my Nokia 6.1 & Nokia 7 Plus.

HMD does not aim low, they aim high because nokia is not a brand to take for granted, is also not a brand that got up while stealling everything from others. Nokia has a Echo, something that is not to be confused with chinese knock-offs. So if you don't like it, buy a knok-off and stop complaining,. ..who cares?

With all the respect to Nokia, but at this price point there is so stiff competition, that they only can dream someone will buy it. 149€ is the max that they could ask for it.
