love the lg q series but there is no one out there selling the lg valet cover and the one i got does not have nfc on it and some othere country have nfc.how can i upgrade to q61.do u think lg can send me a free one

I think $500 or even $550 would've been a price I would be happy to pay for it, given the really good specs. It is essentially a upper mid range phone. But $735?! Come on LG.

I think, design for a midranger is not bad, back camera design (finally, finally) is not a bad copy of iPhone 2019 lineup (like in Samsung S20 series, Galaxy A51, 71..), Xiaomi, Redmi, Huawei, Honor, and "others". Bit, thats it.
And about those prices, that's true. Alll OEMs this year have higher prices (even Qualcomm). And thats because they want to recover of bad or non sales al all, because of covid 19, with our money. So think wise, don't buy now anything from them, in a month or so, prices will go down, like it sould from a beginning

And people wanting a second screen can only choose this or older v50/v50s or the nearly 2M korean won impractical/weakly built models from samsung.

I find it's very funny that 1 year ago, every made jokes and complaints about Sony 21:9 screen, like too tall, or remote control... Now with every other phone companies are using 20:9, 20.5:9... I heard no more jokes or complaints how tall the phones are anymore.
I don't understand why Sony get all the hates, they are the pioneer, the others are followers, but the people turn all their hatred to Sony anyway.

Only Apple is the non-korean brand with proper after sales support shops in here. In case you're pointing towards cheap value chinese models, import tax adds up as well as minimal to literally no official service center support here makes those ones the phones to avoid.

I think most will agree having an Snapdragon8xx-series is the entry of making to highend segment. People look at the SoC first. The rest, it just what vendors compete against each other, and more compelling for the users. This is a premium mid-range at it best.
