Android 10 rolling out to Xperia 10 and 10 Plus

I have not yet receive the update for android 10 on my xperia 10 plus, no update available in system settings. Im in the philippines. Pls help me.

Fearghast, 09 May 2020It did not improve the fingerprint sensor on Xperia 5 ... a... moremine is Italian region, well doesn't really make much of the difference in term of the scheduled updates. Yes the fingerprint in my xperia 1 is much faster and reads my finger more time than ever before (still does a lot of false reading tho), but still lacks the agility that xz2 has (maybe due to very slim fingerprint scanner size).
I also happen to have xz2 softbank version (i lived in japan for a while), and since the software is a bit customized for the provider, the updates is mch much slower than the global version. Still, my xperia 1 receives updates every 1 months or so (30-35 days gap)

... moreThat is a not working either ... it works on any other FPS, but not those faulty on Sonys.
And registereing using more than one finger in one slot is probably the worst thing you can do for security.
But you sure make it sound like a non issue, even if it's no issue for any other phone/device.

Look at this test in the video, The guy is using Pixel phone and covers half his finger tip, and Android learns the more of the unknown area after each use of the sensor.

Wait a second ... you scanned two fingers in one slot ... man that finger print sensor is even worse than I imagined. You can probably crack it with extreme ease.
It learns? No it suuuuucks.

Fast way to do this is going into the fingerprint menu and keep touching the scanner with slightly different angle/area and it will learn more areas the finger.
Basically as long as it recognizes part of the fingerprint, if there is a new part next to it, it will add that to the data.

So Japan had its update 1/4 year sooner ... and Sony does not even offer to install update manualy ... G-R-E-A-T support right there.
I plan on buying Xperia 5 II, maybe Xperia 1 II, but I am buying it knowing their software support is utter garbage.

I uss xperia 1 and i already use android 10 before even other competitors (well pixel devices will surely be the first to receive android 10). My xperia xz2 hasn't received android 10 yet though, the april patch for xz2 is still running pie. As for xperia 1 april patch, sony improves the reliability of the fingerprint scanner

If you have X1 or X5 you got the 10 update before 95% of the phones on the market. That's not goon enough for you? Buy iPhone or Pixel then cause those are native devices. You have XZ3? You got the first ever Android 9 phone in the world so I don't know what you are complaining about. XZ2? You got the first ever update to Android 9 in the world so once again I don't know what are you complaining about. You have XAx or X10 maybe? Well you got what you paid for.

If Samsung brings Note 20 with android 11, it will end at 12 just like S20. There wont be more update for note than S. It is the same.
OP8 will have same updates of 8T, no matter if 8T comes with 10 or 11.
No company will give one more update to the phone of second semester that has same cpu than phone of first half.
Not my fault you cant understand ....
