i update my Arc yesterday ... actually i flash the tft file throug flashtool and just have to say THANKS SONY i really like this update ICS 4.0.4 run smooth well ram manage for my use calls sms music internet is ultra ok dont have any complain ... if you dont have the update go to XDA forum xperia arc and download the flashtool and the oficial firmware lt15 for Arc or lt18 for Arcs and ... Voila!!!

Updated my Xperia Ray android gingerbread 2.3.4 to ICS 4.0.3 without a hitch. What I did was first checked the SI number of my Ray (under the battery) with the list of SI numbers issued by GSMarena for which the latest ICS was available. Next I downloaded the latest PC COMPANION (presently version 2.10.053)to my computer, connected the Ray and voila ! Gingerbread was converted to Ice Cream Sandwich. Of course the process took some time (2 hours + for me 'cos internet sucks in my country. Well patience finally paid off and now I am really really enjoying my improved Ray. Thanks Sony !

Its now getting serious. In this respect like the way of nokia as i and most of nokia customers in the world got the belle update within hours. For sony it is the 4th day and no signs of update for most of the people.
