hotdude008, 23 Sep 2012is der any diffrence between i9100 n i9100g... which is be... moreBig difference. i9100g is slow in comparison of i9100. Processor & GPU are changed in i9100g . You can check benchmark comparison on youtube. i9100 is much better.

I am trying to upgrade my phone OS to ICS and everytime it says 'Operation timed out' and the upgrade fails. Has anyone experiences this?

when i am trying to update to ICS in my S2, it says 'operation timed out'. I have tried more than 7-8 times. damn.. any solutions for this?

i m not able to update after downloading firmware in pc it prepares to update but it shows phone not recognized and a notice bar comes and says remove phone again and reconnect
but my phone shows downloading do not turn off target!!!!
please give me solution to this problem

Hi. I just downloaded ICS 4.0.3 for my Samsung GT-I9100G and installed via Odin. Previously I was running 2.3.6. I am in Africa. For those of you still waiting for this you can install ICS via Odin on your phone. Just be sure that it is the correct firmware for the correct phone. DO NOT install I9100 firmware on the I9100G and vice versa. I almost bricked my phone doing that. If you cant use Odin wait for the official OTA to hit your phone because then you don't have any business flashing ROMs on your phone. There are quite a few instructions on how to do this on the web. Read and follow them carefully to the letter. All the best flashing your new firmware!!!! Again let me emphasize, be sure not flash the ICS version for your phone only.

i rooted my s2 to update 2.3 to 4.0.3 and still work well and ram is 831mb... but worried about warranty..purchased 20 days ago

hi, after upgrading ics my phone contact no's look like 098 xx xxxxxx how can i change this to normal indian phone nos xxxxxxxxx, then in my gallery pic are not displaying ascending / descending orders. pls advice how to re instal ICS to my s2 officially
