HMD/Nokia still very fast on releasing feature phones. But so so so so sloooooow in releasing high-end phones. I wonder what signal they are trying to give consumers.

just because SD865 supports 8k doesn’t mean it’s a must to deliver 8k in 2020. nokia wastes too much time squeezing out every feature they can on something that might not be that relevant yet. can’t they just release a software upgrade or something in the future? at the rate their going, they’re going to release their top-of-the-line SD865 phone when a new processor, like SD875, are released on other phones. where’s the business sense in nokia nowadays? i think they’re trying to position themselves where they cannot afford to or where they won’t be competitive, having high priced products and slow in delivering innovation.

This HMD/Nokia is a bad joke. the old employees or i should say ex-employees of nokia was hired in huawei already thats why huawie made a great deal when in terms of camera. today's time out of 100% only 5% real nokia employee remain to the smartphone department.

Yes, I hope this time around they get their game on the right spot. Nokia usually doesn't play the numbers game in terms of memory and cpu. In the flagship segmente that is a huge mistake. And since that segment causes a halo effect for the rest of the lineup, it is a remarkably wrong strategy in terms of marketing.

Last year Nokia 9 was a very bad ... moreIt is not a must to have 855 when 855 released. they would be testing and optimizing those 5 camera things & whatever R&D on SD845 and suddenly 855 comes so what they will do. See the real life usage of that phone. Its comparatively cheaper too considering the 855 & 845 offerings of Samsung at time of launch & now more lower price.
And for camera complaints I hear, It works like a digi-cam or something that processes a raw image and put it to an adobe software (What DSLR people do right). People compare these kind of camera to normal life bokeh effect or beauty mode camera.

Symbian shows promising evolution, but big brothers want total worldwide data collection under common roof ... the real Nokia crushed by big brothers as public display, the marketing was difficult to create apps in Symbian

GnuLinux, 12 May 2020Real Nokia died long time ago. This HMD/Nokia is a bad joke. Nope! If Nokia was not brought back to us by HMD.. I would had not got any Nokia device option after Lumia 730.. . . But now you see I bought cute lil Nokia 105, Nokia 5, Nokia 5.1 plus & now Nokia 6.1.
This 6.1 resists me from even upgrading to any other phone (even new Nokia models). Means man what a built it is! The dark blue Aluminum 6000 phone with copper edges on sides, camera & fingerprint scanner + 4GB RAM 64GB ROM + gorilla glass + SD630 processer. That too I bought it before 6.2 launch at 92 $ only. Bang for buck! They meant the slogan of this phone "Built like a tank".

ZEISS effects like picture styles?! This sounds like there is a limit to smartphone lens sharpness, ZEISS and LEICA are known for their camera lenses
