i like the 3.5 inch screen much better. every company , are focusing on making phones with bigger screen , which is reasonably proven , with the production of phone s such HTC One x and Samsung Galaxy S III and sony xperia s and ... don't get me wrong , i love big screen phone , but big screen doesn't really a useful item for a handy phone , 3.5 is ideal , cause it's not small , and it's not big , and it's big enough to get you through every duty you'd expect from your phone. and the most useful stuff about 3.5 inch screen , is that , it able users to handle the phone one handed , without any problem. i'm using a Galaxy nexus and a Motorola Razr xt910 for now , and to be honest , as awesome the screen is , the usability and griping and handling is a bit hard for me.
and for the people who say apple has an awful design , i need to out it. if apple would never product iphone , the full touch screen phone industry , would be a lot different. the current design symbols of all the full touchscreen phones , is the iphone. so if you think , apple's design is awful , then you shouldn't like the design of any full touchscreen phones.

Sorry they don't make phones anymore that are the perfect size for you to kill people.

Thnx god..now am gona stick with my 4s for long time and wont feel am outdated with the new iphone cuz simply 3.5" is the best of the best ever size of a smartphone

i remember seeing the previous prototype last year based on some CAD drawings they found..

Not that I dont like Apple, if this handset is to be true it is very nice! I really do hope they wake the f**k up and use micro usb because that is the norm, them stupid properiatry ports that Apple use are so annoying and BIG!!!

Firstly Apple never were a company who believes in "market research", ever heard Steve Jobs quotes :“You can’t just ask customers what they want and then try to give that to them. By the time you get it built, they’ll want something new.” & “It’s really hard to design products by focus groups. A lot of times, people don’t know what they want until you show it to them.”. Also a few months ago a survey showed people want screens between 4" and 4.5". Not saying you're doing anything wrong by focusing your choice of a phone on whether it is usable with one hand but that's just your opinion. Same with all the people who WHERE saying 3.5" is the ideal size and yet phones like the Note were a huge success.
Iit'd be awesome if Apple makes use of mUSB, it makes it easier for accessories manufacturers to start with but I doubt it'll happen, they're way too proud. also the bezel needs to be thinner, otherwise it will be larger than an SGSII but with a smaller screen and the battery needs to be improved of course.
