I used to listen to music from Spotify and later I transfer my Spotify playlist to Google Play using Tunelf Spotify Music Converter. Now, it supports to transfer Google Play Music to YouTube Music. I will try it. Good news for all music lovers.

YoutubeMusic is the best music streaming service I have used. It's as good as Pandora and much better than Spotify.

YouTube Music currently has some but not all the functionally of Google Play Music (like casting from the web app), but I've been assured that they are planning to have all the functionally, and more.

I will be holding off until it's matured with all the features, or until I've no choice. I've already started to download all my music just in case

I am a Canadian subscriber to google play music. I am unable to transfer. I have tried on windows and on Android. I get the 'not-your-turn' message.

If I had my druthers, I would stick with google play music. So far I haven't found any advantage to YouTube Music.

I hope we'll be given the option to uninstall it without rooting.

Google apps taking space sucks, although my phone doesn't have it, my wife complains of it.

I never liked Spotify's poor algorithms, it sucks when it tries to play music based on an artist or a song. Pandora has by far the best algorithms, with Apple Music and YouTube Music coming in next, and Google Play and Spotify at the rear.

If it would be possible for Spotify I might consider to switch. But with nearly 200 playlists on spotify, why would I switch? ;)

I've used both and Play Music is quite good, second only to Spotify I would say. YouTube is the Apple TV of the streaming music world.

I have Spotity which I find more convenient and more "easy" to use, the UI/UX in YouTube Music isn't that great. That's a shame.

Next year's headline: Google is shuttering down Youtube Music.

I've been with GP Music since the beginning - primarily because of the unique music upload feature so that I could add my own music. The last couple of years (at least) there has been absolutely no updates, bug fixes, or other improvements despite it being in dire need of such.

Now they want to force transfer me to YT Music, which - in it's current iteration - is utter crap. If that doesn't improve to something that's significantly better than what I have now, I'll swiftly be off to a different service. I'll have to go back to adding music files to my phone to some extent for the more exotic stuff, but I'd rather do that and have a good streaming service than have a crappy one that does it all...

That's one good riddance. No more redundant music listening solutions from Google.
