The phone already lags in the home screen, it gets worse during multitasking.
Compare the A51 to its direct rivals, iPhone SE, Redmi Note 8/9 Pro, realme 6, Pixel 3a or maybe even Oppo Reno 3 or 2F/2Z.
The Samsung is just...slow. Camera performance is just ok I think. Even Exynos S20's not that fast in my experience.

Pushing 1K+ unfinished, half baked devices to the market when they should be paying their software developers double salaries while also hiring double the workforce to ease the load on software development and other critical departments dependent on success of the mobile division.

If I will stay in Samsung for my future phones I will buy the Snapdragon version online. I have now my Note 9 Exynos and its lagging during games.

It's nice, but performance isn't everything. If the Exynos 880 overheats and throttles similarly to the 990, it's pretty much useless for sustained load scenarios (gaming). Though, being a lower perfomance SoC, it might not overheat as much.

Ive used 2 Exynos powered mid range devices, the Motorola One Vision, and the Galaxy A51. Both have given me surprisingly excellent performance and battery life. I don't know why their mid range processors get so much hate.
Personally, I am looking forward to all the 5G mid range competition (including the Dimensity from Mediatek) as it only means WE the customers get better tech in lower prices (to hell with paying 1000 USD for flagships)

It all depends on the custom CPU microarchitecture of these two. If Samsung continues with the way they did from S9 to S20, then this is another disaster in the making. Otherwise, they might become competitive with QC but at what cost remains unknown. Anyways, no concrete information to arrive at any conclusion yet but I see some brilliant minds here already deciding the future of an unreleased and untested product. Kudos and stay safe all.

dear Samsung, pls stop producing Exynos.
Known for heating, bad battery life, and inferior performance.
I personally have a bad experience with S7 exynos variant, very different with SD version. you can check the comparison videos as well (Mrwhosetheboss)
Stop doing this scam. Go for Snapdragon.
