Anonymous, 14 May 2020What’s the point when it’s not coming to Europe?It's available in Europe - least in Denmark, through carriers.

JayrBars, 15 May 2020Good for you. Iphone pro max is a great choice. If we had t... moreYeah, it has.
If rumours are real and base iPhone 12 Pro Max will have 6/128 for same $1099 - that would be great and more worth it =)

KondriX, 15 May 2020Also it doesn't have a dedicated audio jack and a microSD, ... moreYou are correct. People also have different needs. You just have to get something what is right for you, for whatever is available.

Nicolas F, 15 May 2020Well, yes - iPhone 11 Pro Max ticks all the right boxes: ... moreGood for you. Iphone pro max is a great choice. If we had the same purchasing power ill also get the iphone 11 pro max. Great videos with that phone. I can afford it but i wont go that far.
You know, its not just specs, design, camera and all that people consider for purchasing a phone. The price also has a big impact.

Why all android OEM’s keeps copying galaxy S10s design?!.

KondriX, 15 May 2020Also it doesn't have a dedicated audio jack and a microSD, ... moreYeah, but I don't care about that :) I use TWS earphones and don't need that much memory to utilize memory cards for smartphones :)

Nicolas F, 15 May 2020Well, yes - iPhone 11 Pro Max ticks all the right boxes: ... moreAlso it doesn't have a dedicated audio jack and a microSD, which are essential for me, and I guess for many others also..

JayrBars, 15 May 2020Up to you man. Thats your belief. By the way, have you fou... moreWell, yes - iPhone 11 Pro Max ticks all the right boxes:

- iOS is a good OS;
- display with enough-but-not-too-much pixel density (because OLED, PenTile, blah-blah), low flicker coefficient (important for OLEDs, because they use PWM to regulate brightness), and it's just good (also because it's flat and doesn't have hole-punch selfie camera);
- computing power of its SoC will be enough for 5-10 years; also, fast memory;
- all rear cameras are useful (no depth/macro/filter/etc gimmicks); also, two of them have OIS;
- good build quality; also, maximum dust/water resistance (not "waterproofing"!), although I don't advise anyone to rely on it too much;
- great battery life, and power efficiency (battery life / battery capacity) is more than in almost any similarly-featured Android smartphone;

Although this is not too much, but there is no other smartphone in the market that combines all of the same advantages, not just some of them.

Of course, it has its own disadvantages (which don't really affect previous sentence):

- 64 Gb of storage in the base model;
- more RAM would also always come in handy;
- width (77.8 mm) is quite high, especially with a case (which is always a must);
- why not titanium body? Titanium is in any way better than steel, isn't it?
- USB 2.0;
- no autofocus in ultrawide camera;
- there is no evidence that Face ID is actually that secure or even more secure than fingerprint recognition; also, its convenience is arguable; also, yes, no notch is always better; and screen-to-body ratio pursuit can go to hell;
- one can't use Apple Watch (which I'd like to) without an iPhone;
- iPhone 12 Pro Max can turn out to be much cooler, but it's unclear when it comes out;
- why do I really need any smartphone when I have iPad (which is much better for browsing, videos, comics, Garageband, etc.)?.. xD

Nicolas F, 15 May 2020Yes, they just allow manufacturers to leave themselves with... moreUp to you man. Thats your belief.
By the way, have you found the perfect phone for you for whatever is available in the market now?

Interesting. Next year 1500 dollars for change the 3x periscope for a 5x one. In 2022 1700 for 10x optical zoom... Don't forget call your bank before if something goes wrong after purchase it... Idem for other brands.

Congratulations. Keep buying and encourage prices to continue to rise. Next year why even use a USB-C or selfie camera? That cost $20 to produce. Pay $2000 for them is you want features...

The only problem that I can see is the asking price .... It's just too much to justify it against the likes of Oneplus or xiaomi .

If they realize that and drop the price I think it may have a chance

Yes pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease ! Thankms Gsmare! Looking forward next days!

Romania will have it https://www.motorola.com/ro/ . So I'm sure a lot more European countries will get it.

Uncle Scrooge, 15 May 2020Yeah, I got your idea but sometimes you just forget to char... moreThe phone supports faster charging than the 18w included in the box. You just need to buy a different charger. They didn't include it because for most people 18w is fine.

JayrBars, 15 May 2020It may not be special, but definitely its not garbage. And ... moreYes, they just allow manufacturers to leave themselves with no choice and release smartphones with "features" that exist only to make it easier to sell these smartphones to people. So, yeah, I quite reasonably believe that they are stupid.

ishreal, 15 May 2020So aggro over a smartphone lol. Get over yourself dude, pho... moreI didn't talk about quality; curved-edges-and-hole-punch-display makes any smartphone trash and unsmart-phone, just because that "features" are so stupid and egregiously unnecessary.

And, you can't be certain if I'm "aggro" or not just by looking at the text ;)

No replaceable battery? Not interested.

The + version has more radio bands and a faster CPU but no memory slot. Given the risk of filling up 256GB, I'd go with the standard version. Actually, probably neither. I still remember my Moto X Pure having all support terminated without VoLTE ever working.
