It's old tech and not very effective. Don't buy Oneplus 8 Pro if you really want xray vision. My Xbox's Kinect sensor costs so much less but does better:

IR and UV imaging is used daily by photographers, testers and for wild life. Nobody got problem with that, imagine you got IR sensitive fullframe camera and 600mm lens, no mobile phone can reproduce that, its awesome though.

On the article's sample photos, its has been proven to be true. So this one can see through my pants depending on what color of underwear I'm wearing. Shcks.

Awww... I thought that photochrome camera would act as an ND filter like the Nokia 808 PureView before.

Now, that's called innovation, unlike crapple. xD

Anonymous, 14 May 2020Is What I Read Real.I Still Can't Understand Whats Going On... moreCamera capture light invisible to human eyes.
This light wavelength can pass through thin plastics and some clothes materials "the color of clothes affect the transparency too"

Why can't they just implement a night vision sensor instead of color filter garbage.

Can this be used instead of FLIR camera on PCB?

Why not replace the camera with a neutrino-detector while they're at it? Then we would see right through the Earth and get pictures of the stars on the other side.
