In other markets, much better phones from other manufacturers available.

The 5 year update system of iOS is a giant scam. You get latest features 5 years late on an average. Android is light years ahead of iOS in terms of functionality, customizability, security and ease of use. Android from 5 years back can do things iPhone can't.
The upcoming iOS 14 will finally get an app drawer and fully functional widgets, Lol these are things that existed on Android a decade back.
Plus with every subsequent update, your battery and cpu are deliberately slowed down by Apple (Yes, they are paying fines for this malpractice) whereby one is forced to upgrade after a few years.

IPhone SE might play all all those high end games without frame drops but then who wants to game on tiny 4.7 inch screen where half the screen is occupied by controls.

No Android can undercut iPhone at software support no matter how hard they brag. Android support is garbage. If you really get 3 years out of it you can consider yourself very lucky. Also out of these 3 years, it usually means you're only getting 2 major Android updates and you'll be waiting months for them. One of reasons I left for iOS. Also Google's dingus handling of private data.

I'm really glad apple recycled such a amazing phone!

Good news. You guys always complain about iPhone SE but don't forget that thanks to that we could end up with various decent Android midranger. So stop bashing on iPhone SE and instead hoping that more Android manufacturers star taking midranger seriously.

This phone is just another midrange android phone from an endless list which it's only appeal is it's better camera, the black Xiaomi Mi 9T looks far better made than this, similar specs but 6 gb of ram - from last year - and it's significantly cheaper. This is a totally mediocre phone that sits only the pixel brand, the camera and to a few in the rather compact size, the gamers are going to go with something bigger.

I'll take the Pixel's features in areas that actually matter any day, namely screen, battery and camera... but you do you, enjoy that processing muscle!

Gosh it's even OLED not LCD. They will throw in a much larger battery so your phone actually lasts a day. A much better camera considering the hardware in the SE is of the iPhone 8 (i.e. 3-4 years old)- I remember the ads used to show the pixel 3a had better night shooting capability than the iPhone X, nevermind iPhone 8. Fast Charging adapter in the box included in the price, more RAM, and most importantly a cheaper price!

The headline may say undercut price but come on, Google phones vs Apple? Are you kidding. This is why Google has like .02% market share. Not a big iphone fan but Google should stop wasting their time....
