Redmi Note 10 with 5G, OLED display and faster chipset shows up on TENAA

13 May 2020
That's quite an upgrade over the recently released Note 9 series.

I hope Xioami will never release 32-bit OS again for the Budget phone.

The reason why people pass because of MediaTek is because it's so much harder to safely flash ROMs and root MediaTek chipset devices. However, if you're not going to flash any ROMs, MediaTek chipsets are completely fine and are an amazing deal - I wouldn't pass up this deal at all

I often wonder why people pass just because there is a mediatek chipset. Please, no qualcomm fanbois here. We need more competition in the smartphone space.

Dimensity 820 should be an excellent choice. cheaper then the 765G, yet simmilar performance.

m.samuel, 15 May 2020I'm waiting for phones based on the dimensity 1000. Why?! c... moreMay I then introduce you to the (Vivo) IQOO Z1.
This phone is the world's first Dimensity 1000+ phone, it has all the latest tech available like the LPDDR5 Ram, UFS 3.1 Storage, 144Hz Screen (LCD though), 44W fast cahrge etc... And it costs 350$ USD only for the 6/128 variant.. It's pretty much a steal at this point so you better go for this device if you're aiming to get the top tier performance of Mediatek's Dimensity lineup ;)

You can also consider their other phone, the (Vivo) IQOO Neo 3, with basically the same specs but with a Snapdragon 865 chip, starting at 380$ USD for the 6/128 variant.

Notch > covered by an OLED display.
& losing a camera won't make any noticeable difference because they're not ditching a main sensor, just a useless depth sensor probably.

You simply don't know better than Xiaomi so you better ask yourself what tf are you saying instead, because upgrades are mainly defined by cpu performances, not notches and cameras.

It's got everything a budget consumer wants - fast chip, great battery life (7nm MTK, not the bs 12nm Helio series), usable cameras and OLED panel and 5G for around $250-300!
