Note7 owner, 17 May 2020Enjoy your last update. Wrong, just wrong. LG phones, like most Android phones, get 2 MAJOR updates. So the LG G8X will be updated to Android 11. When? I don't know, but it will get the update.

Note7 owner, 17 May 2020Enjoy your last update. Don't be so confident, I've seen lots of LG phones receiving two major software version update. Since the G8X is one of their flagship-tier device, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Android 11 would be available.

Will it be a good idea to go for instead for a g8x than v60 in 2020? I know g8x's dac is better tuned than v60 & can play many other formats such as dad or mqa natively.

Anyone with the LG G8X, can you tell me what the haptics are like? I heard LG took out the famous haptic engine from previous phones.
