What major war has the current U.S. administration started or is actively involved in? So far, Trump has stayed out of all international conflicts because he doesn't give a rat's ass about other countries' ongoing issues.

Almost all of the latest and greatest technological innovations of the modern era came from the U.S. Everything from the airplane to the computer to the CPU to the television to the internet to the cellular phone to the global positioning system, and so on and so on. Not much will change in the 21st century, either.

You have to realize that the Chinese gov can ask Huawei to have a copy of your fingerprint and they can't be denied, it's Chinese law. Once your fingerprint is stored in Chinese database, they can access your phone. It doesn't matter if you switch to other phones in the future because your fingerprint stays the same. They have access to your phone for life. What if you criticize the Chinese gov online? They can retaliate.

Their intentions are to conquer the world and spread communism to everyone. They constanlty break human rights, stop freedom of speech, freedom to think, freedom to criticise, freedom to have opinions. And their core target is to use whatever means necessary to spread their regime over the free world. This is why the MUCH lesser evil is the US and the absolute evil right now is the CCP and all other communist countries. The whole world needs to put their efforts together and remove these regimes from Earth.

Stop saying who copy/stealing who tech or anything. They can sue huawei if they do that like Samsung and apple sue each others for copying. Why need to ban huawei, is it because of China then need to ban the company? So funny.

And about security, USA also spy us long long time ago. Why only USA can spy us. Why not give China to spy us? Whats is the different.

Don't say backdoor, Google also got backdoor. Anything also got backdoor.

Kriegsherr, 19 May 2020that is the issue. Mass people are crazy dumb. properti... moreWhat's scary is your phone stores your fingerprint. Huawei has access to it. If Beijing wants it, they can ask Huawei to give them a copy and they can't deny them because that's the Chinese law. Your fingerprint will be stored in their national database forever. Your fingerprint never changes. They have access to your phone for life. The Chinese government will have more people over American people than the US government.

They were also caught putting backdoors on equipment. And frankly, they should be reprimanded. But the Cisco issue is much smaller than the Huawei one (locally vs internationally).

I work for a large european IT Equipment installer and we have been taking out Cisco Equipment by the skip full for the past 2 years. So many back doors and mostly hardware related so we cannot patch them. they have to be replaced.

Chinese law dictates that if they ask any Chinese company to disclose information about their customers then they have to give it up or go to jail. If there's a million Huawei phones in America then that's one million information that the Chinese government have access to if they want. Let's say if one of the Huawei phone owners works for a company with sensitive information or if they work in the government, then the Chinese government have access to their phone data.

So Huawei is accused of "spying", and instead of simply banning its products for sale, this administration chose to throw the whole weight of the US government at this one single company, going so far as creating licensing nightmares for US companies by blocking any transfer of "US tech". Any bewilderment as to why the US would do this will go away the moment you take a step back and realize that the bigger context is the US-China trade war. This is the administration that thinks trade surplus (in China's favor) is ill-gotten gains. So next time you hear "spying", you'd better think "bargaining chip".
