Whatchasay, 03 Jun 2012If you think the iPhone is the biggest scam on the world th... morei compleletely agree w/Whatchasay. android fanboys always say that the s2 outsells the 4s last year. huh!? even by this month the s2 sales are still below the 4s sales. how ignorant can u be?
show us some numbers that clearly says that the s2 really did outsell the 4s.
and for those android fanboys who keep saying that the s3 will kill the 4s, i'll just say this. it's no surprise if the s3 does kill the 4s, i know that, i've even expected it, cuz even know i'm an apple fan, i fight fair. personally, i like the s3 better than the 4s but that's fairly understandable. the s3 is samsung's greatest at this year. i've said this before! compare the s3 w/ the iphone 5. only then we will ahve a fair battle.
unless you're still to ignorant to see my point.

I see the Android and IOS fanboys are out in force.
Both systems are excellent. IPhones are good, so are Samsung, HTC and Sony (and other) offerings.
Wouldn't the world be really dull if we had no choice? I'm just glad that there's so much choice these days.
After all only an idiot would buy a product just because of the branding.....a mindless easily led idiot with no brain of their own.
Oh sorry, that sounds like most of the people on here. Apologises if you feel insulted, but then if the shoe fits.........

It's the only Apple phone to choose a... moreIf you think the iPhone is the biggest scam on the world then you really need to get out of your little bubble. I said it before and I'll say it again, where are the numbers? Android fanboys like to compare sales when you include all Androids, but when you compare high end sales or profits they throw out a bunch of lame excuses like : "Well if this happened or if you don't count that then of course Android would win." It doesn't work like that in the real world. Where are the numbers then? Compare the top Android phone sales against iPhone sales. How many companies and how many phones will you use? I'll leave it up to you to decide. Bring some numbers or stop blubbering about speculations about what might have been.

Share you experience if you don’t mind,,, I notice that you assume a lot for others when you can ask them directly I have used HTC Hero, Xperia X10, HTC Desire, Samsung i9000, Samsung i9003 & Samsung P1000… in my opinion thru my experience HTC is the best Samsung is the worst so I used everything rooting & custom ROMs for all of them so I know what im talking about and im not below average user…also it seems like every time when you reply rooting OR custom ROM (Unofficial Methods) is the answer my question is why Samsung didn’t upgrade i9000 to ICS while the hardware meet the requirements I don’t wanna hear about Custom ROM and CM7/CM9 I want something official from Samsung and as I mentioned earlier there are customers who don’t want to harm their phones and you agreed that its their right not to do so …. “a lot of people still pay for their apps on Android” with all due respect I refuse to accept and believe that and the approach that Google made in the Android market if they willing to continue along with having rooting/method by having apps for free (Black Market) and variety of apps designed for specific Android phones not all eventually the developer will fed up and that’s the logic math of the situation…. Enjoy your day

Would love to try S3 (HTC One X design is better IMO)..... But can't get rid of my iPhone... too dependent to my iPhone... List of feature I won't get from Android:
- My games (check in Android and they are unavailable)
- Sygic (irreplaceable.... Android have one but not working [at least in my country]
- Pocket... do they have pocket in Android?
- Access to hundreds $$ of apps that was bought

Anonymous, 03 Jun 2012Thanks for the reply, Why I have to go to paypal? Who will ... moreAs far as i know Google is plenty safe. I know there are hackers, but those are everywhere and Apple and Google usually catch wind of them quickly. I was just saying use paypal if you have worries. I don't recall that paypal will take a percentage. I am very sorry for the experience you had then. I can assure you that is not the average Android experience. As with anything man made product there are imperfections and some work slightly less than others. This is why I stated if you are not familiar with apps crashing. I never said everyone was dumb. Just a lot of people do not realize that means the app crashed. Lot's do. Apple is a very deceptive company. The best at it actually. In my experience after a few roms and a lot of work ICS runs very well on my Captivate except that Overclocks at higher rates are not as stable. On CM7 I could take it to 1.5GHz with 250MHz bus oc no prob....not in ICS.
OH!! Sorry. Did not quite catch what you meant by the developers. A lot of people still pay for their apps on Android. Yes you make more as IOS developer because you can charge more for apps and more people are willing to spend more money and you only have to work for a couple phones. But developing for Android is still big time to many. It's not just a pass time for most.

Who will take percentage for my transactions, why Google can step it up to meet their opponents? ,,,In my experience with Android the “FORCE TO CLOSE” when the system asking me to close OR wait, waiting was NEVER an option and when I press wait the phone freezes completely and when I close the app it always open another app this my experience with Android also U can right your review in iTunes and read all the users comments in PC instead of doing that thru the phone and for the part “For this you can almost assume you might have done it yourself if you are not familiar with what it means” it’s doesn’t make sense people not dumb to not recognize that and Apple not lame to try to deception theirs consumers also no one can prove that Apple made it intentionally… much leave us with question to Samsung regarding the i9000 why they didn’t release ICS upgrade to Galaxy S1? Although the specifications and hardware meets Nexus S and Nexus S received ICS upgrade… and still the developers subjects you left blank again ^_^

Anonymous, 03 Jun 2012Thanks for your reply but It seems that you have includes o... moreJust pay with a paypal account and you are set. When IOS app crashes it goes to home screen yes. For this you can almost assume you might have done it yourself if you are not familiar with what it means. When it crashes in Android it does not open another app. What it does is let you know it's not working right and gives you the option to close now or wait and see if it fixes and most of the time it fixes right up. Even gives you the option to send a report to the developer. That's just one example how much Android is so extremely user integrated. That's so strange. i see many threads and roms and posts still working for Galaxy S1 in most variants including I9100. I have never used Kies and I do not believe I will. You are right. You really don't have to root. Android is very functional even without and some people don't want to go through with it or not that much into technology.
may your day be nice too

I don’t need to hear the full story of credit card risk the main subject is Android market not the credit cards. Yes iOS apps crash but not a lot and with excuse like “ they just hide it” and to be frankly my experience there is different behavior between iOS and Android when Apps crash in iOS the apps get close and you go straight to main screen and in Android in the apps crash and open another app instead… regarding the rooting and my experience the last phone I used Samsung i9000 I rooted I even installed huge number of custom ROMs but after i9100 as time goes by the developers lost little interest,,, and rooting the question that my friends with Android phones asked why do I need to root and I told them what you said its safe and the phone works fine with no problems but they refuse cause they don’t want anything unofficial also they don’t upgrade thru the ODN like I did they waits for the Kies and Kies is one hell of experience to me to be honest … and to be more honest they right and they have the right not to root or use ODN … Developers: U left this section blank lol ,,, I would love to read your reply in this regards

Anonymous, 02 Jun 2012Point is apple has the whole ecosystem that its so popular ... moreInteresting... I hear the exact opposite from Apple users!
They are very pleased with their Apple products and don't feel very much limited (apart from USB OTG and Adobe Flash).
It's more in the line of what "Whatchasay" said.
And for those "limits" that are enforced by Apple, users actually agree with now late Steve:
- USB OTG: "Get on with the wireless revolution and leave those cables behind!"
- Adobe Flash: "Bloated piece of junk... make room for HTML5!"
But enough of Apple, let's come back to Scamsung and how it managed to sell so many Notes!
I'm really amazed at these figures because I've seen it in person and that's one huge mothership. I wouldn't wanna be seen dead talking into this "phone", but people still buy it and seemd very pleased with it.
I don't know what phone manufacturers have been thinking, but for me it's not year 1992 anymore, I live 20 years into the future and I want to use small phones that have screen size as big so I can reach the top corner with one thumb (for me it is 3.7").
And I really have no idea how Dell managed to butcher their own 5" Streak.

It's just easier for IOS because they only have to work on a couple phones and more people are willing to throw money. Apps crash a lot on IOS too they just hide it by it saying nothing when it does. You don't need to be rooted for most apps either. Some. You credit card info is technically at risk if you have it anywhere saved. Not just Android. If it's Apple, Paypal, banking, whatever. Is it likely? not really, but you are always at risk. What phone and version were you using that everything was so unstable? Even before I rooted and rommed almost everything worked fine for me. I only really read on here about crashed apps. I hardly ever experience it or find my friends to have experienced it either.

jackskellington , 03 Jun 2012Yup. Showing that they make more sales is your only redempt... moreAndroid generally is great OS but the downside for me is the apps quality in fact the was the main reason for to switch back to iPhone also the apps in iPhone of course they all comparable iPhone,iPod & iPad unless your device doesn’t has camera some apps wont be installed like iPod 3G or iPad 1G but in Android what i found out that not all the apps comparable and it was really big disappointments to me some apps designed for Motorola only and some made only for specific carrier and huge number wont work unless you root ur phone and frankly i met people with Android who was surprise and they wont do anything to harm their phones and as per one of my friends he stopped me from buying apps from the Android market he told its not secure and i shouldn’t give them anything like VISA or Master cards he advice me to install what’s call "Black Market" i can get any apps for free which was great but some apps were working fine and some keep "Force Close" and the quality wasn’t that great take a while to load or response and i end up going back to my iPhone 3GS then upgrade to iPhone 4... i must say there are huge number of apps for free in Android market and some you have to pay for but they found away to go around it and get it for free like the "Black Market" so the developer who make this apps i wonder what’s his benefits? does he just develop apps just for kicks? he is not expecting any fund for his work? they deserve to get pay for their work and i think if Android will keep going that way developers will lose interest and find something else and Google should step in and find a way to sort the Android market

out of the 47 million sales of Apple last year, more than 80% of that is the 4s. that's roughly about 38 million. i've done the simple math for you to let you see that the iphone 4s sales still outnumber the s2 and Note sales.
and this is only the record from last year while the s2 and Note reached this feat only by now.
