Please bring it for Redmi Note 4 (MIDO). It´s still a legend and battery life is still better than on many newer phones. I personally like the hardware buttons more than the swipable software menu. Esecially because the security patch handling for Redmi Note 4 was quite crappy (Dec2018 is the last security patch), one final update to make the phone usable another 1 or 2 years would be great.

But, I get why Xiaomi is doing it - because the Mi 6 was launched back in 2017 - it has been 3 years, which is better than most OEMs. And - to be honest - my battery is close to its end of good service. I know I need to upgrade, but my complaint is the lack of small smartphones, those you can fit in your pocket, and use with only one hand, when you have your bag of groceries on the other. Please, make a small smartphone - not the SE, with mid-range specifications!

will we ever see "auto screen rotate" tho? it came up with android 8 or 9 , literally every other phone manufacturer implemented it, still no sign of it in MIUI. New fonts and animations are nice but would be great if all the new android features were implemented instead. Still a fan of Xiaomi but MIUI could be better, they were really ahead of their time, mi mix 2 had gestures figured out before everyone and overall UI was great and 3 years has passed , it is still mostly at same stage. They call it 10 , 11 , 12 but barely anything significant changes.

Note 5 pro should be same as the global version of note 5 ai dual cam. I wonder will this get android 10 too with the miui 12 or they have it on android 9. With the SD636 they promise 2 major android updates and since global version come out with 8.1 and not like the India version with 8.0 we have had only 1 major update. Well never mind that last security update was like November 2019 :D I dont actually care much of the updates and well there is no security anyways if you dont disconnect from the internet and never use it.
