At last, a proper use of the huge camera module, unlike other recent phones. That gimbal camera looks amazing and the stabilization should beat the iPhone's. It's a shame iPhone software engineers can only work with dinky 12MP cameras. This will be their achilles heel for the next generations of iPhones.

According to Samsung, "50MP ISOCELL GN1" is still several months away from being commercially available. The 1st smartphone using GN1 is likely 3~4 months away.

No, vivo never did that. If anything, vivo informed others that X50 series will use a Sony sensor (similar to IMX 689) for its main camera.
