No 90hz or 120hz mode means its a fail for me. Vivo neo 3 5G is a much better value for money phone. Even realme x2 pro from last year is much better than this overpriced phone. Xiaomi is not what it used to be.

This is no POCO 1 version 2.
I hate notches, some dont care.
I love macro photography, some dont care.
I dont need an extra SD slot, some do.
I cannot afford a new phone each year, this phone will last me some years.
Never seen a phone with > 60hz screen, probaly will never care, but others do.
AMOLED is much better than LCD, unless maybe the phone is your nintendo replacement.
Is it to expensive? Compared to POCO 1 YES, compared to similar "flagship" phones no.

Not in 10 years will 8k become the standard for video lol. With all these data compression due to more and more storage being taken up on social media, 1080p would be the maximum resolution that most people who fall in your said group will enjoy even in 2030.

btw. I think vivo IQOO Z1 is what Poco F2 should've been:
- Dimensity 1000+
- 144Hz screen
- no fancy camera setup
- no fancy pop-up camera
- sold for 280€
If it was released worldwide, it would pretty much murder Poco F2's sales

Again, funny poll interpretation by gsmarena... Nearly 3/4 of people think it's a bad deal and the title is "F2 Pro was worth the wait", haha.
Anyway. Poco F2 was supposed to do three things: a) flagship chipset, b) price close to F1 and c) at least 120 Hz screen. It failed in 2 out of 3 tasks. It's nice that we got all this fancy glass build and all, but that's not why people liked Poco F1 so much. Give it plastic build, give it basic camera setup (who gives a f*ck about 'telemacro' or 'depth' sensors anyway) and if SD865 is too expensive, resort to MDTK 1000+ or SD855+, both perfectly good enough.

Average consumers are not tech enthusiast like us.
They are not going upgrade a phone every 1 or even 2 years. iphone SE 2020 makes so much havoc around so many goups cause, apple makes this device for the consumers who often stick to their phones for 3/4/5 years straight.
and trust me on that. There are a large number of these customers.
come to the point why 5g and 8k matters. Most of the buyers of Poco F2 pro is not going to buy another phone when 5g is going to avail in their region amd 8k become something standard of capturing videos.
maybe its not useful or necessary for many of us. But we still have other options within this price range.
and who knows when we're going to feel the need for 5g ,8K there'll a better Pocophone for us. ✌🏼️

Half the screen of that tiny 4.7 inch size is occupied by controls leaving you with a lackluster game play experience.
Not to forget lack of higher refresh rate which is easily available on other 200-300 dollar smartphones.

Bought my f2 pro for $410 equivalent during a flash sale and using a voucher. Just waiting for it to arrive. I hope it would be worth it as my f1 that i'm using now.
