if trump have guts , ban the selling of os & chipsets to all the chinese based companies, and start usa's own smartphone productions! I've never seen a single product labeled as "made in usa" so show us that you are capable of doing the stuffs like manufacturing innovative smartphones like china.

When you said China is not investing money in researching and updating but instead just copying mostly, you are very retarded in politic and business knowledge, China has ever surpassed many countries in high technology, and they invest to be the biggest and strongest, and Trump who understands that China is the biggest threat for USA, tries to preserve the essentials and limit technological losses for some companies where China has not yet really had access.
I will discuss only about Huawei, first I have to say it's a trade and technology war. First, USA refused Huawei to use Qualcomm chips, Huawei invested in this domain and year after year, HiSilicon from Huawei showed his chip Kirin become beter year after year, to stop Huawei a little it's better to say Huawei spies, tactic of USA to use against enemies, what they do themselves worldwide.
5G technology is at the center of the emerging future technology and industrial world. By 2025, the industrial Internet powered by 5G may create 23 trillion US dollars of new economic opportunities; China has secretly grabbed the market and is now in a leading position in the 5G field. Huawei is now the leading supplier in all continents except North America, while the United States has no equipment suppliers; in the next 5 years, the dominant position of 5G global layout and applications will be established. 5G relies on a series of technologies, including semiconductors, optical fibers, rare earths, and materials. These basic technologies have all been localized in China.
China's leading position will make the United States lose the power of sanctions. And if USA lose, it will be the complete economic death of USA.
Recently, a Japanese professional company did a dismantling analysis of Huawei Mate30, and found that Chinese-made components have risen sharply from 25% to about 42%, while US-made components have dropped from about 11% to about 1%. It's a beginning, and also China is first country who can made now chips graved in 2 nm, but there is a problem China doesn't have EDA software built to design, because almost all companies in this domain are from USA, recent US sanctions will stop these companies to work with Huawei. Problem for many people like you, you like to compare your behavior with others, China and his folk will do everything possible to create what they need, exactly like Iran, because they kept the secrets of their ancient civilization, they know how to face the enemy. Only possibility, to use nuclear weapons.

They don't just pay for them, they also usually owns them. They also do setup companies to exploit resources. There is no doubt that your government takes this in consideration before doing anything that might affect China's willingness to invest in your country.

I'd suggest you ask your government to entice your people to buy locally as much as possible and add some Web tax too. Or join a group of countries that seek to add such web legislation.

There are already plenty of factories outside of China where many will move - Vietnam, India, Malaysia etc. Even closer to US is Mexico where a lot of products are made nowadays.
And if course US will like workers from China because of cost! They are significant cheaper.

This is not "USA vs Huawei". This is "USA vs China". China will eventually have everything under control - this move only slows China down. This is a fight for world supremacy, no less.
And the USA is losing, mainly because China has enough propaganda in the US to make outlets, TV, etc. to say whatever ends up with China winning. In fact, you might have noticed that China will soon invade Taiwan and everyone seem to be OK with that. Soon people will even say Taiwan was really always Chinese.
Additionally, while Chinese engineers are welcome in the USA, and often seen as better than "white guys" because, well, they're not white and they help with race based quotas, the same is not true for "white guys" going to China.

Or is the process itself acting li... moreWell I was literally talking about a dedicated chip who also have its own dedicated memory, but it won't be accessible from the outside, I haven't decided which authentification method the chip and the OS would "trade" yet, but many are possible, and for any possible online stored biometric hash, the idea would be, the service give a special encrypted key which correspond to a procedure to reliably get an unique code out of biometric data, so whatever is send back isn't the whole biometric identity anyway.
Well there are many point to think about, would it be better if the identification is device locked or not for exemple...

Considering most stuff the USA produce is anyway "Made in China", what if China decided to suddenly take control of and repurposed all US factories ?
I know the USA would strongly react to this, but how bad for the USA this would be ?
I wouldn't push thing too far if I was the USA, they have more to loose than China !
We talk about China ability to gain, virtually instantly, all the US knowledge out of their China based factories, all of the equipment, unshipped products, raw materials and more while the USA would loose all its production of "made in China" (basically everything...) stuffs...
And while the USA could try and force every other country to boycott China products as a revenge, China would have a huge mean of pressure by saying to other country to just keep doing as before if they don't want to loose all their factories in China...
If China play well, they could actually even convince the UE against USA.
The USA probably don't realize how dangerous for them is the game they are currently playing...
Who right in his mind would threaten someone who own most of its stuff and mean of production ?...

Just today I saw a new one related to smartphone assistants, Apple and Siri in that case that were spying (listening) illegally on users...
USA even have a law for this, the Patriot Act, so I would actually sleep better having a Huawei phone without GMS than a non Chinese phone with GMS...
For the fingerprint, this is exactly why I advocate the implementation of a dedicated security chip which would have for goal to store all biometric and main password/pin/pattern away from the OS, so no biometric data could get up to internet, only an anonymous hashed code if required, it have other advantages like making the phone thief proof as it could guarentee that it can't be formated/reseted without proper authentification, making the phone basically a brick for anyone else than its user.
It would also allow for multiple users, users with limited access and temporary users and other amazing features !
Privacy, security, practicality and efficiency friendly !
