I'm a little dissapointed, the battery is inferior to the one on the n82, still 240x320 resolution, led flash?? the only thing i can think of is that xenon flash can't be used to record videos so, they decided to use dual led flash( can't wait for the reviews) and of course the price , 500 $ should be enough!

n78 rocks man. this seems an entry priced n-series device with the feature set similar to n95 (of course with lower cam specs) Seems the slimmest n-series with an FM transmitter. Surely would be lapped by young ones who need style and an n-series!!!

Wow! What a wonderful phone that Nokia have ever shown. Yup! Not like plain boring look of Sony Ericsson( the phone look almost the same). Many people say what a boring look when Nokia produce Nokia 6230i they look the same as Nokia 6230. But when Sony Ericsson K750i and Sony Ericsson K750i with "i" version Sony Ericsson W800i & Sony Ericsson W800 + EDGE (Sony Ericsson W810)All of them have same camera and auto-focus not like Nokia 6230 & Nokia 6230i. However no body say anything (bias). Now there you can see the Sony Ericsson look all the same design and look .

Nice phones, with nice features. But i was expecting much more from Nokia. And being a Nokia fan, i was really impressed with the line up of Sony Ericson, plus they have released more phones then Nokia.

Nothing really revolutionary from Nokia then, a rehoused N82, a cut down N82 and another N95 with TV and more memory, but nothing new. Hmm, I wonder if they are saving something for later?

You can't blame us for not loving the n96. as one of the posters said, it's an all-rounder. It's like choosing between a Finnish femme executive (N96) and an American hot blonde (Iphone). The blonde would give you all the bells and whistles upon initial contact but its the femme executive (with more substance) that would give you long-term benefit.

If the play stop and skip buttons are now on the front beside the d-pad, what is the dual slide used for now? It appears to have either 2 buttons or some sort of touch sensitive pad. Does it have the touch sensitive d-pad like the N81?

the reason the iphone memory got slated is if your gonna do a premium music/multimedia handset that costs £269 on a £35(minimum) 18month contract, then it should have at least 30gb the n96 is an all-rounder with expandable mem also so no-ones a jock for thinking this is a great handset in my opinion its much better than the iphone or any other handset announced or out at the minute and until this handset i was a die-hard sony guy now im nokia guy lol

Nokia are again looking boring Samsung will in few years be much better than Nokia and Sony Ericsson.
The phones has a lot of features but when you wanna pay a lot for a phone it has to look good, and thats where Samsung is way ahead.

as i said on the thread for the N96;ive just tested this phone for nokia and i must say its much better than the n73...the camera quality surpass it greatly....it has larger inbuilt memory i dont know how they fitted 16gb but im not complaining it means i no longer have to splash out on a 1gb card....i sent the handset back to nokia with great review expect in bt cellnet shops around november ready for christmas rush!!! i can not wait till you guys get to play on it!!
