The relentless Chinese OEMS swallowed competition from Japan, Europe,Taiwan.
Now we have them eating into samsung and on the other side we have monopoly apple in the high end.

That back fingerprint reader implies a midrange smartphone. I would like to see a flagship instead. HTC U13+ (or rather HTC One M20), with top-tier specs, HTC custom cameras (Ultrapixel), large battery & a premium body & construction. A true HTC phone for oldschool fans.

I always welcome smartphone manufactures outside of China, for a more diverse market. Unlike 5 years ago, we do not see much diverse brands competing in a segment.
