It was a briefing following a meeting with the Trade & Agriculture Industry. In other words a meeting with farmers. Not the tech industry. A reporter brought up Huawei (for his personal reasons) while trump was gloating about his position on the trade between US-Mexico-Canada. It was less than 2 minutes out of a 45 minute press briefing that the president wasn't that interested in talking about it.
I agree with the rest of your comment. He attacks people or anyone he has an issue with. He has not verbally attacked Huawei yet on twitter or at a rally. I've heard trump be more outspoken against Apple than Huawei and he used a Samsung device, not a iphone, until he had to give it up for something more secure.
Huawei does not have enough presence on American soil for it to be personal. They have some back-end 5g tech that no one would notice if it were removed. Plus I can't walk into a Best Buy and go to a Huawei stand.

I myslef bought a P40 and a P40 lite for me and my mother. Both phones work perfectly without and GMS. Many Android fans claim to be smarter than iPhone fanboys. Reality, both blindly idolize a company.

Yer man, the one never speaking in codes, comes up with names for everybody he dislikes or simply disagree with. Because his narcissist brain can't handle simply talking about other people as if they are human beings.

Huawei has good phones but I think now their prices are too high for what they offer. It's better they start positioning their phones as value propositions without the Google play store thing and stop the over the top pricing

Whether it's a rally or twitter he calls them out directly. He has never mentioned Huawei once. His issue is with China. Most Americans have no clue Hu-awei is.
People in China showing their support to their own might argue about iphone vs. huawei. You may even look down upon people that use iphones nowadays, but we don't do that in America because there is no competition between the two here. They are non-existent to most Americans.

ypcx, 26 May 2020is there anything you'd want to be improved on the find x2 pro?In general nothing. Got it too soon. So far exceeded expectations.
Maybe only the battery life. It is worse then on my mate20pro but very different phones and chipsets, power, also screen properties. I knew spandragons are worse then Kirins so I expected it.
I do get 1 day so it is okey. Just ordering external battery bank.
screen refresh rate and resolutions are in auto. No 5G use not yet 5G here.

For now they are too much reliant on foreign technologies namely Hardware, Software, Fabrication, Aerospace, Railways,Medical equipments you name it.
China's domestic market is so large that they can save trillions by simply using domestic technology,I read in Foreign Policy website.
For now they are slowly reducing intake of foreign
items.

that is significantly cheaper then its announcement price, when it was introduced it was due to have a 1399 euro price tag, its now in the 1100 euro range, yikes, im keeping an eye for actual european prices for this model

Yes you can install Google services but it does not enable everything to work as shown in articles from many tech / mobile sites where people have tried to live with Huawei devices without Google installed by default.
Particularly apps by banks and other things are impacted.

I don't think anyone outside of China bothers about Huawei phones anymore... After they lost Google services... they've just been firing blanks... Infact at least in the Indian market, they don't even release new Huawei phones anymore... The last major phone they released was the P30 Pro ... After that nothing.

i'm still probably getting the p40+ just for the 10x telephoto, it's a great toy.
