That means UWA on Samsung are wider than UWA on Huawei lol.

    galaxy has 12mm ultrawide and i'm using every bit of it.
    my p30 pro 16mm (still 2mm wider than the p40) is severely limiting me in many shots.

    the p40 "ultrawide" (which is just barely wider than s20's main cam btw) is the p40's main downfall, along with the horrid camera zoom interface which prevents the camera being used single handedly in landscape mode.

      How can you charge north €1000 for a phone that does not have Google services? Wake up Huawei YOU ARE DRUNK.

        I was going to wait p40pro+ but when played with p40pro the display, lack of stereo speakers, and old kirin 990 let me down and now I got find x2 pro and I will go for mate40pro hope they fix all. At least bring back the qHD screen, at least 90hz refresh, stereo speakers, new kirin, at least 5x optical, and I will consider sell my find x2 pro. But huawei must push hard with mate40pro since I love 120% my find x2 pro. It delivers more then I expected!!!

              Nothing New, 26 May 2020Yeah , it is 23mm and they crop in to 27mm so they are not ... moreYup. I took the most optimized resolution, which is at 12.5mp, cropped to 27mm. Dont care about 50mp, not usable enough for me, considering balancing between sensor & pixel size.

                      135mm x5 Hybrid Zoom
                      240mm x10 Optical Zoom
                      480mm x20 Hybrid Zoom

                      Beyond that zoom are just digital trash lol. (Hybrid still usable & acceptable)
