No android marketshare comments. Alright, 80% marketshare. Divided among 10 companies who don't even work together. Gives you 8% per company. Which is less than IOS's 20% per company.

Anonymous, 31 May 2020And thats the issue. Because you believe that bogus crap th... morehahaha, like your long comments! Maybe you will take the crown from Demongornot as Uncle Longpost. Just maybe.
I never said that IOS is "so much better". Sorry if you misunderstood: I think both iPhones and android are great choices. It looks like you are the one that is saying iPhones are crap.
Yes, IOS and iPhones ARE smoother. Evidence: Apple has full control of their own software, their own chips, etc., so of course it is smoother. Android has to develop for like thousands of companies, so of course android isn't optimized the best for each of them. That's if the refresh rate is even, though. Although iPhone 12 lineup is gonna get 120hz this year, though.
You forgot that useless malware and constant ad spamming(xiaomi) exist in android too. Too afraid to mention it? That slows down things a lot. Android one exists, but that's only to midrangers.
What you said was right: apple wasn't first or second in mobile photography until these years. Completely right! Except that it's not that manufactures are getting stale at cam upgrades, it's apple using software to improve things.
Your right, getting updates for longer "doesn't" have much benefit. Alright, see you at android 11 when android 16 is out. Bet you will still be loving your android 11 phone that time!
Of course, android has all the usual benefits: super high refresh rates, more cameras, more RAM, etc.

JDK, 31 May 2020Sorry, but he really isn't a unbiased person. I think he is... moreAnd thats the issue. Because you believe that bogus crap that ios is so much better, more optimized, or smoother. Especially to a degree to equal things out for all it lack/used to lack. And that couldn't be further from the truth.
For one thing. Until the last couple years where companies got stale on camera upgrades iphone was never first or even second place in mobile photography.
Secondly iphones in fact had a slew of all sorts of mechanical and most definitely software issues. Things that added up so constantly it never lived up to the whole quality bs that supposedly made it worth more despite offering less. Or that even represents the supposed effort taken when you have so much power, brains, team, money, and drive all going "one"phone. Which is supposedly the best and so much easier to work for because it's only one phone. And you developed and optimized everything in house for that one phone. And you have the best team and all the money to work with.
And even now is still only a few phones. They know they don't need to showcase that effort because people still defend them.
Like those updates. Those are botched way too often. Enough to say getting updates for longer is not always a benefit.
Like you apple lovers claim, "Quality over quantity".
With many Androids working fine, just being "less perfect", or matching/surpassing general ui usage...on top of usually being more functional and feature rich from day one OUT OF BOX compared to most iphones even after their last update...that imaginary quality crap is out the window. Iphone is just over priced with good marketing.
At least iphones are starting to get usable amounts of storage, ram, and battery capacities. Especially with the upcoming 12. Because despite that "optimized quality" and "not needing specs" those updates were one of the things bogging down older iphones. That and their crippled hardware. Like low capacity batteries that degraded quicker for being so low in capacity already. And usage time showed it. They had good standby and decent mixed usage for it, but terrible usage time for quite some time. Until pluses came out. Then they started getting ok battery life.
As well as low ram and storage being bogged down. Like what they worried about doing to some androids....about a decade ago. But iphones about a decade later are finally really starting to clear that. Congratulations.
That's unless they find a way to be sneaky in their updates still. Yes i said still, not now.
Yes all devices and os's have issues. But iphones have had just as much and sometimes more than others. As well as more than enough of their "lags". And even held about a 6 year world lead in smartphone app crashes. It was even covered here on gsmarena years ago.
So the truth is that optimized or performs better crap has always severely exaggerated. And half the time ends up being the opposite.
Heck a few articles also covered here listed about all the bending issues the 6, 6 plus, and even 6s's, had. While not only did it bend but it would cause all sorts of issues from lines or dead spots. Up to dead screens. All from light pressure. Because where as with the 5s it still was a metal cover over that area on the board it was now a thin plastic film.
Apple denied any such issue even existed. For years they told people it's their own fault and they must have dropped it.
Even though they fixed their line up for later iphones and I believe even effected models still being produced.
Finally the problem existed but was still users fault for dropping them. But out of the kindness of their heart they will offer the repair half off for something like 150 instead of 300 or 200 instead of 400.
And for people that randomly kept their receipts for up to 3 or 4 years ago... especially after being told it's their fault and the issue didn't exist... they could get reimbursed the other half.
But it was still the users fault and no flaw existed.
And then... mind you... this we are still covering gsmarena articles here.... finally just a couple years ago... it's finally released that Apple knew from their initial production about the weak points in the frame. Let me tell you how shocking that was......
But at that point did anyone care? Were they facing lawsuits over it? Were most people ever properly reimbursed or taken care of? No.
And all the while up to even that last article... all you get is oh well android sucks this or Apple quality that.. or this phone had this issue.
What a sad world we live in. Because this describes in issue within us as people beyond just phones......

But marketing combined with those couple exclusives have many people believe they are so advanced and etc Yada.

When marketshare jumps from 20% to 50%, I'll take iOS seriously.
And yeah, there is always no.1 and no.2.
A particular OS is either inferior or superior.
Android is the OS of choice on smartphones and much superior just like Windows is OS of choice on PC platform. There's no arguing about it.

And who cares about not... moreAndroid still has punch holes? Not necessarily.
Android ecosystem gives you options of non intrusive punch hole or beautiful teardrop notch or no notch at all.
With iOS ecosystem you are stuck with ugly notch which you can't change as slaves never had any options to begin with. IOS is Put your head down and take it operating system.
There is a reason why 80% users prefer Android.
The flexibility and buffet of options is the reason why Android is the OS of choice in smartphone segment.
Why are you changing topic to AR?
