IDC: Hearables market on the rise, but smartwatch sales have declined in Q1 2020

I don't have a "smartwatch" because the battery life is useless, it needs charging everyday.
My proper watch never needs charging as it's solar powered and is always accurate as it's radio controlled. In my work my phone has to be switched off (or at least aircraft mode & silent), so a smartwatch is of no use or advantage whatsoever as they're interconnected.
I just see them as poseurs device.
Earphones/Earbuds are slightly better with improving battery life and sound quality. I have Samsung buds+ and I find them to be very good.

Smartwatches declined because sensors are bad and whatsApp integration is not complete.
A louder speaker would be nice and of course no lag with scrolling (a huge problem with Samsung Active 2)
Active 2 promised an EKG but only Korea has it and the watch was relatively cheap in comparison to Apple Watch. In itself, it was not so cheap.
These are easy fixes but once they get fixed they're going to ask a huge premium price as if they discovered a new planet.
