The only reason they are "an... moreIts not about licensing, its about the desktop apps are written for x86 platform that is very old, and for ARM developers needs to write the apps again if they dont want to use emulation that cripple the performance in half...so people that are on the go all the time and use desktop apps, still needs laptops

The ARM arch is more than capable of running anything "desktop" as evidenced by my tab s5e (running linux). It's powerful enough too , especially if we take the Apple side of things.
So really, why do we insist on aging, inefficient archs? Because Wintel has cornered the market, buying this or any laptop is basically paying a glorified loyalties' tax. Both in the form of inefficient hardware and in the form of actually paying more for less...

The Galaxy Book S with SD8cx chipset couldn't use most Windows x86 apps. That was a shame. I recommend a HP Spectre x360, Dell XPS 13 or Macbook Air for this Galaxy Book S price point.

Also the Razer is heavier and meant for gaming and graphics design professionals (though still thin in this respect).
