Well it's look like any BORING Android update again from Google. Can't you think of a better ways to optimized or something for Android 11? I had enough with this Ui optimization it's been many years you had developed Android & till now you still optimizing Android Ui? Android 2.3 Gingerbread & 4.4 Honeycomb i think is the best Android that you've produced. With this kind of update with so much Bloatware & Spyware you're making Android much heavier than before. Consuming our internal phone memory's & our phone Ram.

But this is already on my iphone 5c last 2013! Welcome to 2013 Android users! Ps. It’s in the notification control like wifi not the notifications like your messge its it embedded in the notification control itself and i have been using android too from 2011 to 2016 and i know android doesn’t have this but my iphone 5c from 2013 has this.

OwnFix3, 03 Jun 2020Why are they so mandated to release a new Android version e... moreApple has been doing it since the birth of iPhone, they update the iOS number version yearly so it's part of their routine. Google started following it after Android Lollipop and now Android 10 for convenience. This is regardless of whether those updates are worth the number version change.
However, I do understand your point. After Android 5.0 Lollipop, every upgrade felt less exciting. I'd honestly be fine with Android Nougat. Google is too fixated with design but not user experience and ended up Android being more bloated than ever. Consequently, now you have phones up to a whopping 16 GB RAM because marketing and also OEMs are too lazy to optimise their software. Not only that, older, weaker phones being updated can perform even worse. Custom ROMs are doing a better job than these guys. This is why I don't really care about getting Android updates anymore aside from security updates.

Why are they so mandated to release a new Android version every year. If all they could come up with are just some UI changes then it's a disrespect to the upgrade.
Upgrades should mostly be about improvement in performance and optimization. Not some rounded circles in your icon.

This looks like a cuttered mess. It seems Google engineers and just fiddling around with Android now because they can't think of any actual useful new features to add. If it works JUST LEAVE IT ALONE!

Some people complain again and again. But for me android is great and will be great. But I've disabled almost all notifications and my phone is faster than before. If you phone is slow disable everything in settings including auto sync. Only keep things you use turned on.

Xperia music app lets you use few controls with locked screen.
Just turn screen on while music is played.

Can they make wifi MAC address randomization have an off toggle?
It makes the phone useless on networks where they filter by MAC address too.

If Android gets boring all the time with the new version, better switch to iPhone with better OS support. Die in peace Google you have nothing new to introduce.
