And yet other sites are selling it at €500, the price that was promised during the launch event. Mi.com will have a promo starting tomorrow, though.

It's currently 314€ on eGlobal and 370 on Gearbest.

It is 910 Euro in Turkey (6/128) thanks to taxation... If you want to use high tech like smartphones and cars, don't come to Turkey.

      In Norway it's 700 Euro 🤔

        I think 6/128 @ $350 ... That is when I'll go in.

In France, where I live, the Poco F2 Pro is 599€ for the 8/256, that's actually 70€ less than the Realme X50 Pro.

Shadocx, 04 Jun 2020If we compare Realme X50 Pro vs Poco F2 Pro, it's basically... moreYou need to be neutral when comparing 2 phones, you only focused on the things that the X50 pro does better (aside from 3.5 mm jack and ir blaster because it's less important). You forgot that the X50 Pro, at 600€ and aside fronthe telephoto, uses the same camera setup (main and ultrawide sensor) you'd find in 200-300$ phones, while the F2 Pro skips the telephoto for a much better main sensor and a better ultrawide camera.
Don't get me wrong I'm not defending the poco, I'm disappointed by both devices.

So 500 dollars (half of current top dog flagships) is reasonable price for flagship killers.

its call VAT and import cost and running a business. Why is any of this new? AliExpress and gearbest provide worse warranty services. mi.com provides legitimate warranty so its worth it for those who want that. ofc you could also just buy mobile insurance instead ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯

It's unfortunate that Xiaomi hasn't made a global version of K30 Pro Zoom yet , despite all the fuss about the price & certain specs.

There could be problems there in EU that Xiaomi doesn't disclose. Base version pricing here in Asia can be had for around 450USD when using discount coupons online OFC.

I mean, those "flagship killers" got more expensive each year. Is not necessarily Xiaomi fault, all companies did the same strategy.
Imo, now the real flagship killers are the mid-range phones. Maybe 300-400EUR price.
This 500-600EUR "flagship killers" are too expensive and there is only the possibility to have last year flagship models at the same price. Which in some cases, proves even better deal.

Nope, because if you buy it in an alternate store like gearbest you won't get a warranty and you will get a chinese imported product without taxes, so it's illegal in France. You misinform the consumer here.

Android phones are so frequently now, that in maximum 6 months, the price of that phone will be drop significantly. No matter the brand and no matter how powerful it is.
