I like that phone and also they are providing 100% free repairs on anything related to the hinge and screen in my country. However it is indeed too pricey considering the Z Flip is cheaper and offers much more.

Gautams, 04 Jun 2020Its for the rich, an expensive, fragile and unique phoneIt's hardly fragile. It holds up much better than the competition when dropped. It was worth every penny, it's not disappointed. It's also funny to hear this when the best selling phone is a $1200 Apple one. $300 for something different is not an exaggerated expense.

I have the 2020 Razr (V1 I now guess lol)
Making it bigger will defeat the entire object of having a flip phone to save space .... It's 100% the perfect size.
It's not remotely slow or laggy so not sure on why they need more ram

The absolute must is a better battery, that is shocking. No wag around it. It's crap.
If I leave the phone all day in the van at work. Ok can still empty at home in the evening with no effort.

            It's surprisingly tough.

If they can keep that same iconic design, I'd easily take the RAZR over the Galaxy Z Flip.

Seems a pr... moreAgreed, but I know that "missing SD Card slot" is not rare for a few years already so... instead of adding SD Card slot, I think they should learn on how they can fit larger battery in there first just like other common smartphones these days.

Lets hope version 2 has a slot for a SIM card. Seems a pretty basic flaw not to have a sim slot in a phone!

I think most people don't really care that much about half an inch here or there, as much as they care about not leaving dents in their screens caused by their nails.

Personally I'm a really big fan of this folding concept (as opposed to one on the original Galaxy Fold or Huawei Mate X), but I'd only be willing to pay the flagship price if I know that my screen won't be a mess full of scratches after a month of use.

Having a super fragile phone for 1500 or 2000 is a big no.
I rather will stay with casual screens and big phones than having this fragile toy in my hands.
Same goes for other foldable phones from Samsung Huawei and Flexpai.

                          why not using sd865?

lol. the whole point of a foldable phone is to be compact and easy to handle. I could see this foldable trend going out of hand and in a couple of years the unfolded phone will be longer than a receipt.

Really cool concept but reliability will always be questionable since the displays are basically plastic.

Just fix the mechanism and get proper and reliable display to go with it. people don´t care about the specs as long as the folding mechanism works well
