      ONLY good on paper

Overpriced for the midrange phone 😑

Android Master, 06 Jun 2020Is that why iPhones keep reloading apps and games? Is that... moreI never use iOS in my whole life, so I cannot comment anything about it. I do, however, experience Windows Phone OS since that is now my current primary daily driver and I can easily tell that it is a real night and day difference, especially for low-end and midrange devices. The performance difference just beggars belief! There is just literally no effing way a 1GB Nokia Lumia with Snapdragon 4xx device running Windows Phone performs faster than a 3GB or 4GB RAM Android device with the same 4xx or 6xx chipset. It shouldn't be possible! Literally speaking, the only way I can get comparable speed with Windows Phone in an Android is to use a custom ROM with OpenGApps pico or microG.

600 dollars for an upper midrange phone? that's just bad pricing

Oppo is making a mess out of this lineup. The initial phones were too expensive for the brand. The mid releases were good but people expected those high end specs. And now it's Reno 4 which will be flowing down the smartphone drain pretty soon not because of its hardware, but it's pricing.

Overall, another IMX586 main cam, the periscope is a nice addition and 65W of charging but that chipset can't do 90fps on demanding games.
Better get the 10x zoom Reno with SD855.

Beautiful design of an utterly stupid phone. What's the point of it when it has the same SoC as the predecessor and gets released just a half a year later after Reno3?

It this had Snapdragon 865 for maximum performance, or a Snapdragon 855 / Dimesnity 1000 for great performance to price ratio, it would be a great, valid option.

I really like the camera bump, with that transparent area around the cameras.

Also, it seems that the non-Pro version has platic frame. Personally, I find that a good thing, but it's worth pointing out this difference between the two models.

This design is just amazing, so the color options are, but it's not a worthy upgrade from Reno 3 Pro cause everything is nearly the same except ultra-wide camera. Also 5x hybrid optical zoom is a cheat.
