Anonymous, 06 Jun 2020I'm glad this year a lot of manufacturers staying away from... moreYeah snapdragon is quite pricey than the meditek counterparts but they are good and efficinwt enough.Meditek recent chips are good but what about long term efficiency;they are fast but after 2.5 yeats how much heat it will produce??how much battery it will consume??.Dimensity 882 has 2.6ghz a77 cores and if mediatek can then qualcom can also push the clock speed of 765gor 768g to 2.6ghz on both cores but in when they are new they will be fast but after 2years those 2.6ghz clokes will produce heat and will drain battery.Atleast 720g and 730g are not shit they can be a little slow but highly efficint in long term.

But glass backs aren't necessarily better than plastic or aluminium. In fact, glass shatters when it hits the ground and the only reason it is used is for wireless charging which is found on more expensive phones. Budget phones have glass backs to look like a more expensive phones.

Btw my note 5 ai dual cam as the EU named note 5 Pro still rocking no problems and i dont see why should it not last me more year or 2. I dont even care about the updates as last one was something December as security update

It's only placebo effect for quality too. Plastic that is on the phones for 120 euro isnt worse then the plastic that is on 300 euro. Before touchscreen phones all phones were made of plastic and nobody didnt complain about them being made out of plastic

How many flagship phones you know with MediaTyek EsoC in the last.. Well 10 years? That's right..
And about this G80/G85, you can take a look on Youtube, charging test (of Note 9 with G80, and with 22.5w charger), there is no fast charge at all, and only, because of MtK.. Note 9s, with identical charger, identical battery in mAh, charge faster by 40-50min, just because, there is a Qualcomm (720g), inside.. Yes, rhose MtK phoner are ok, they work, no custom rom, no G cam, no fast charge etc.. But, thats ok, if you pay for phone 100 or under euros..

In my country, unless you buy 50$ - 100$ android phones, they will last at least 2 years before you need any replacement. They usually provide you enough for social network, web, and navigation.
Those who choose to buy budget phone know what they need with their budget. They don't need a fancy 865 for just some pics and FB.
And I'm quite confident that with 3.5 mm jack, the sound quality can beat many 1000$ phones with their Bluetooth headphones.

I have mine for almost a year know, the day to day performance is still good and stable (it's not gonna break any speed records), I was surprised by the display quality even though it's not oled (unless dark scenes are in display I wouldn't notice the difference), I played most the popular games (no need for high quality graphics, it's a phone not a console), I played psp games with the ppsspp emulator, the camera takes good photos in day light, yes it struggles at indoor pictures but there is a good night mode that could help sometimes, battery life is beyond great to this day, security updates every month, oh and it has a headphone jack.
All of this for 250$ (not going to mention the brand since this is not the topic here).
