HTC was once awesome.
But exorbitant spares and service dumped them from indian market.
For the service cost of a HTC mobile, you can buy brand new Chinese phone with one year warranty. This is how they disappeared from many markets.

I loved HTC back in the day. They did the first great Android smartphones. AFTER them came Samsung era. Now mix bag a lot of brands. Back in the day there were 1-2-3 top brands. Good times they were. Easy choices.

Amazing how quickly HTC declined. In the early days of Android they were always good steady phones but just lost any excitement or wow factor over the years. Id like them to get back to where they were and add some more choice in the market.

This writer of the article like last time has a negative flippant tone. Pity about that. Considering my previous HTC One A9 had a 616 chip set with HTC sense etc. It ran fantastic!!in business use For 5 years. So a 660/5 is still a decent chip set. HTC have given us many innovations over the years. When google bought their innovative team, HTC would have been left with restrictions for a time. Give them a break. I'll be looking with keen interest in their rebirth. Will take effort to get distribution channels back up . Lot of logistics.try stay away from glossy backs and don't make everything large. Nokia could do with a compact 5.8 screen of types too

If not for those brands, u'll have to pay 600-1000 Euro for REAL crap phone like Nokia 8.3, OnePlus 8, OR this Desire 20.
