ineffable, 10 Jun 2020Ok, bud, correct me if I'm wrong but companies release a sp... moreThe Star Wars edition Galaxy Note10 was a limited edition while the 1TB storage variant was apparently just not mass produced as much or was allocated to other exclusive ( affluent ) regions for sale but sooner or later we'll see 128 / 256 GB on low end and mid-range offerings while flagships will be rocking 512GB or even 1TB as standard storage as prices fall and demand soars for more. :)

Apple released the X because it was the 10 year anniversary of the iPhones (hence why they skipped the 9). Maybe Samsung released a 1TB phone because it marked their 10 year anniversary of Samsung Galaxy S phones. Here in the UK if you want a phone you can go into any electronic store that sells phones and pick one up, however, the 1TB s10 plus was exclusive the Samsung website. Probably because it was a special limited edition and once it was gone, it was gone tbh and because production was low. I can go to the Samsung UK website and purchase the S10 plus 512GB Ceramic in white, but the 1TB is nowhere to be seen.

Everything has a beginning and it just slowly grows from there - just like we had 1MB hard drives and now we're at 10TB.

You clearly had a problem with others wanting more internal storage.
You might not grasp the use case of more storage as 128gb is sufficient for you.
But you have to understand that smartphone industry isn't about your needs but the needs of a variety of individuals.
You had a serious problem with not being able to accept higher capacity storage even after several users told you why they need it.
At best, don't buy those phones with higher capacity internal storage and stop dictating what others need and what they don't.

ineffable, 09 Jun 2020I'm sorry but you think that because your pc storage is ful... moreAs I've said in my previous comment; I'm already full on my 128GB internal + 256GB external and I'm nearly full on my 1TB SSD so yes... a 1TB phone is on my wishlist that's why I said give me MOAR !!!!
I also don't play games on my phone and ain't a Xiaomi user either, plus, you cannot say with 100% certainty that someone else, like me does not need a phone with 1TB storage when in fact I do as I know what I need, exactly.
Furthermore, cloud based storage solutions are off my list, I will not succumb to my data being held on random servers all over the place but hey, that's an option for the less privacy oriented individuals like you..

Games, Flac audio files, movies, porn, etc.
Why do you have problem with options?
Nobody forcing you to buy it.
But it does meet the requirements of other people.
This isn't Apple ecosystem where jailer decides how much storage you get.
And why should we invest in cloud storage which is not that safe for sensitive data?
Plus dependent on network for retrieving files?

Never been fan of gaming phones (I feel like in most cases you just pay extra so your phone can look like a toy), but this... This looks legit cool, not gonna lie.
