Dont be so harsh .. hmd is new to smartphone world . Give them time .. they may not bring back old nokia .. but they will always try to stand out , invent , make something cool .. thats what matters .

So knowing that when you cross the road do you look how others behaveto maximize your chance of survival or you close your eyes and go because no matter what you can have accident so why bother?
Having outdated software is the same as closing your eyes and hoping for the best. I prefer my 3 years of updates that Nokia provides even for cheapest phones.

I would rather use upgraded Nokia with up to date software and Google and social apps than a Samsung S3 that can be hacked with one sms.

Also security is different for different people. Google spying on me? Sure but it's the same problem with, nokia, samsung od almost any other android phones brand. I am doing banking on my phone and so far so good. I trust my recently updated almost 2 y.o.Nokia much more than my previous Samsung which stopped receiving updates after one year.

HMD, after full 3 years, 3 years, still using free, Launcher3, from 2019 those HMD phones make some 3-th, unknown small company (from China, again), not in a Foxconn, thats why, there is a huge difference in build quality of those HMD phones from past, like Nokia 5, 6, and f.e, Nokia 5.3. Also, they don't have optimisation evn 1% in that launcher3, there is no single option build in in system from them (if you don't count data collecting from China based server).. Camera quality is at the best like some of the Chinese OEMs with cheaper price.. They are, at least, always, one year behind in SoCs, from the (from same 'competition'), but one year ahead for the higher price, like i said, new HMD Global phone ('Nokia 5.3), is all plastic, plasric back, frame, like phone with 30$ price tag..
They can't sell, world wide, for year, more than 5mil smartphones.. So, botton line, HMD Global Oy is only good for rebranding Nokia phones in the last 20 years phones, but only feature ones, for someone who wanna nostalgic designed phone.. 3310 (2017) form them was good move, but, thats it!

F*cked up nomenclature again and arrives on the market always late with high prices.
The only good thing about Nokia is the long term software support with decent number of major updates, taking apart Google Pixels you can find a similar support only on OnePlus.

I'm thinking of that since Nokia comes back is not good because of useless processor come along with useless charging port so then Nokia launches Nokia 6 from today there nor Nokia devices doesn't have this charging port issues likes type c port loose or damages. Might be Nokia Stop making low end devices and they only focus on flagship and how know what they do with mid rangers

My previous phone was Samsung and after one year no more security updates which forced me to buy new phone.
