Updated my Live with Walkman! Runs pretty well, great interface too. A truly love that u can finally disable the programs u don't use for more RAM.

pert, 11 Jun 2012i do have the same problem for those who are having errors while updating their device via PC companion, use Sony Update Service instead. i had the same problem but i googled it and found out i could use SUS, so i did and got ICS.
i really miss the lock screen animation though and the LED.

after week of waiting finally got this update.. my SI 1249-4830 Lithuania... I have not even 1 complain... no lag, no faster battery consumption.... very fast performance.. just one little minus - can't put go sms in corner.... :/ so better use launcher....

Sony well done for sending me straight to Samsung with your stupid update policy! Why does the Play not get ICS but yet other phones of the same spec do like the mini pro grrr!

I have successfully upgraded my Live with Walkman with the Sony Update Software three days ago. As for ICS, definitive improvement, except for some drop in performance... Hardly noticeable however
