you people are all sad. is your lifes really that boring that you have to argue obout operating systems get a life you complete bunch of loosers and anyone who bad mouths the iphone is just jealous that they cant afford one fact!!!!!!!

Paul, 11 Jun 2012Dont you love "The worlds most advanced mobile operati... moreI don't know if the title "most advanced" is accurate and by what standard it is measured, but one thing I know is our consumer commission let the claim pass in Australia (they are quite sensitive to "outrageous" claims like iPad's 4G lie...).
Unlike what you stated however, iOS does allow you to choose a variety of keyboards (I've got 4 setup), even though you can't custom create them from scratch (why would you).
iOS does prompt for updates, however it won't ever install them without the user's permission. Could be dangerous when it could use over 1GB of data for Apps on a 3G connection... data is expensive in many parts of the world.
Multitasking - it is up to the developer to include this feature or not. But iOS does allow proper multitasking for Apps that absolutely need it (music, gps, streaming services, etc.). Stability in iOS is everything.
Custom ROMs are just for geeks. iOS doesn't need it because it treats all networks the same. There's no network customisation allowed. Android would greatly benefit from NOT having custom ROMs in that sense, as all users could make use of the latest release straight away.
Whatever way you look at it, most people prefer simplicity over customisation. Ask your average Joe Blow out there... Android is for geeks, and that's perfectly acceptable.

Restricted app store (ie no torrent or music download apps plus others)
Itunes (it blows like u wouldn't believe)
No widgets
Can't rename apps
No custom icons
No custom keyboards
No screen lockers
Automatic App updates
Very basic camera and video controls
No fm radio
No custom roms
No custom launchers
No live wall papers
Very limited device options... 3.5" or 9.7"
You get the point....

android fanboys keep on yelling iOS can't do that, android can do this, iOS that, android this and for what? for no apparent reason they always defend their android based phones as if they are threatened. always bashing "iPhone is a waste!" again for no apparent reason.
the only reason i can think of is that the iPhone will be a great threat to their android phones that's why their defending it like crazy.
and for those who keep calling me a troll, i fight fair. you can search all of my comments and i never said that the iPhone is the best. of course it's not the best, i know that. but 1 phone may not be the best to a person while it is to another. which means user experience is the only judge on weather a phone is good or bad.

not to mention apple's little trick of home screen from crashed app instead of letting you know so that millions of people have no clue it was a crash. Where as android you can wait(which usually works), close it. and even message the develoer.
