Lenovo's Legion gaming phone would outperform other SD 865-powered handsets

Only a gaming phone is safe enough to play PUBG at 90FPS... You seriously need that cooling. And optimisation. I wouldn't recommend playing PUBG on a flagship for too long on the highest graphics. With at least 90FPS. If you enjoy using the back of your phone to cook with of course... That's why I have a gaming phone. With active cooling... And that super super sensitive touch screen of 240hz sampling combined with my beautiful 90hz panel... For 90FPS games... Who on earth would want to go back to 60FPS or 60hz? And that's where gaming mobiles are actually better than consoles... Consoles are still stuck at 60fps.... And now gaming smartphones are effectively close to a gaming laptop or gaming PC. With 144hz screens. Even top end gaming monitors use 144hz... And only the most extreme use 240hz+ or even 360hz and 480hz is brand new tech that is not widely used yet.
So gaming phones are way better than consoles and PC's. Why? Because you have a mini gaming pc/laptop in your pocket. :-). Everywhere and anywhere you go... Anytime... Anyone still complaining... Are probably still stuck with 60hz screens... Or 60fps max... And haven't seen the light yet... Try 90FPS on a Mobile first before anyone complains... 90FPS.... At least.

LilPhone, 11 Jun 2020Mobile Legends? Seriously? Even my friend's Samsung J7 can ... moreWhat are you on about useless??? Not at all. 144hz screens are the equivalent refresh rate of some high end gaming monitors. The CPU/GPU's are powerful enough to smoothly handle higher FPS. 90+.This is higher than any console on the market right now. And... Moving towards a PC/Laptop gaming experience... And actually the mobile gaming experience is now better... Why? Simple. You can have a mini laptop with gaming spec monitor and performance on a gaming phone. Which you can take with you anywhere you go... That you cannot do with your severely anchored PC. And the gaming laptop is still fairly sizable to port around... Gaming phones are the future... The future is here now.

However, most people don't have a good PC or laptop to play on which is the reason for the popularity mobile gaming.

While I don't use a gaming laptop (because I do not have any point of buying one), if I were asked to choose a gaming laptop of a reasonable price, I might just choose MSi (not its lower series such as the GF63 or GP65, as their plastics are very cheap and creaks)

Love the Community, 10 Jun 2020We have graphics intensive games than that despicable trash... moreMobile Legends? Seriously? Even my friend's Samsung J7 can run this game smoothly. Its graphics look cheap in comparison to newer Black Desert Mobile (which is also not demanding at all at lowest settings).
Other games like Honkai Impact even runs on phones like the iPhone 5s/Redmi Note 5, etc
Yeah there are demanding games both in the App and Play Store. But you can count how many games actually need high processing power.
You can even force a quad-core Android to play PUBG Mobile (in lowest settings) as long as you can use GFX Tool. My friend even uses that J7 to play COD Mobile (yes, at lowest settings).
If you want a graphics intensive games, the solutions are only in console/PC games.
Which is why there's no point of these useless gaming phones.

But be ready to pay for a hefty price tag for some of their models. A HP Elite Dragonfly Business shockingly costs similar or even higher than a MacBook Pro. But yeah the Dragonfly is a good laptop with high-end build quality and screen.

Yeah mobile games are practical, cheaper (if you stay away from microtransactions, which is difficult depending on the game), and tends to have a large audience. But it's just not what I call original. Most of the mobile games you see especially in the Play Store are designed for devices with low processing power.
Gaming phones are supposedly obsolette. A shock that many people from certain countries are buying that junk.

Bogdan, 11 Jun 2020While modern times have changed the way we look or use devi... moreErm... Excuse me? Obviously... You definitely do not own a gaming phone...
And second point... Show me a current console capable of more than 60FPS...
All my games. About 59 of them on my gaming phone. All use a frame rate and refresh rate 90FPS for my 90Hz screen.
No console can compete with gaming smartphones currently. Not many smart TV's can do the same either.
And corporate laptops for business generally have screens at 50/60hz.
Also another point with gaming phones. They tend to have shoulder triggers. Giving a console effect.
Also gaming phones outperform flagships due to many reasons. Including firmware optimisation and definitely cooling for sustained zero throttling performance at above console level...
No current console can do what a gaming smartphone can do... Yes... PC's and laptops especially gaming ones are super powerful... But consider the size of the smartphone... And it's portability. You can take it anywhere. Game anywhere that is convenient to use if you have a bit of time or waiting somewhere.
Keeps your mind fresh. Sharp and uses intellect to make decisions. But important to balance your lifestyle. You can go camping with them. Fishing. Travelling... They are mini laptops in your pocket. Infact they are consoles in your pocket but better... No console at the moment on the market can match the 90FPS 120FPS 144FPS we have on smartphones... And yes 144hz is now comparable to many gaming PC's already... This certainly pays tribute to the gaming smartphone.... Try pubg at 90FPS... There is no turning back to 60FPS anymore... No way!!!

Mr PubgMobile, 11 Jun 2020You forgot Pubg Mobile ;)The Last of Us, Mass Effect Trilogy, Red Dead Redemption, The Witcher series, Gothic Trilogy, The Elder Scrolls, Tomb Raider, Uncharted, Horizon Zero Dawn, Shadow of the Colossus. And this are just a few I can think of right now. Can you find similar mobile games, with great story-line, characters and feeling? Probably not.
Yeah some well known titles have tried to come to mobile gaming too (like GTA, Call of Duty, Diablo or even Heroes of Might and Magic). But the experience is not the same. Maybe the graphics, but not the experience.
Even mobile racing games like Asphalt 9 legends can't compare with a console or PC racing game. You always need something extra for mobile gaming (energy, gems, gold, resources, etc.) to continue playing the game. With console or PC gaming you just need time and skills, nothing else.

Love the Community, 10 Jun 2020We have graphics intensive games than that despicable trash... moreWhile modern times have changed the way we look or use devices (even myself have only a smartphone, company laptop and a smart TV, nothing else), we need to be honest about certain things. Phones are phones, if you want a real gaming experience get a console (for an easy way around) or PC (for more experience gamers, being that you need to understand certain things in order for the PC to function properly).
I game a lot on my phones, but the experience is rather boring and dull, just to pass the time (session of 15-30 minutes at a time). You don't have any character built, some nice story to trigger your curiosity to finish that game, some nice dialogues, etc. It's all looks linear. Yeah, the graphics are good (for some games) and even the controls have improved (being that you can use bluetooth controllers nowadays), but the all around feeling of the mobile games is way behind the console and PC games. And everybody who have ever gamed on a console or PC, will understand me.
Not to mention, those awful (majority of them), pay to win mobile games. Yeah, the game is free and you can play it without paying real money, but it will take ages to upgrade to next levels of the game. So, why play the game then? I rather pay the game at the beginning and then leave me alone with in app purchases or ads.
