Why they don't make any more sub 6" phones? Seems like redmi 6 pro/mi A2 lite was the last last good size but still semi powerful phone they made. I really hoped that iPhone SE would inspire xiaomi to make a smaller model again. Maybe next year, because my mi a2 lite is still going strong.

I've been watching the price on a popular price comparison engine (I won't name it because it would be commercial advertising) here for several months. So, yes, it's pretty close to 180€, don't you think? When I see a Spanish price comparison engine it's about the same price, and in a German one it's at 199€ right now. That's not much more than the 180€ of the Redmi 9 either...

fun fact : all of xiaomi and its subrand phones come with usb 2.0, be it micro usb connector or usb type C. Yes, even that alpha thing that costs more than your kidney (lol)
i'll stick to my poco until xiaomi realises this dumb mistake

It is clearly a Redmi Note 8 Pro with worse hardware at about the same price (the 4/128 comparede to the 6/64)... If Note 8 Pro is there, then there's no reason to buy it, only if you want an extra MIUI update... I'll go for Realme 6 because MIUI sucks even though I'll have to give a little more money (20€ more for 4/64 in Europe with an offer) and it has much better hardware...

G80 is totally equivalent ... moreActually, the ONLY MediaTek that can be comparable to SD675 / 720G / 730 / 730G / 765 / 765G / 768G are Helio G90, G90T, Dimensity 800, and Dimensity 820, as this type is the only one that use Cortex A76 cores (Helio G90 are literally on par with SD765, G90T rivals 765G, and Dimensity 800 is the rival of SD855, while Dimensity 820 rivals SD855+)
Other Helio G series & newer P series (P65, P95 & P90) are using Cortex A75, so they are comparable to SD 710 & SD712, which was already good enough for daily task.
BUT, with the arrival of Dimensity series, I'm afraid SD67x, SD7x, Helio P & G series will be dead in the water soon, as no mid-range SoC could rival them (Kirin 820 could be one, BUT with it exclusive to Huawei & US ban, its future is questionanble)

Just don't grab phone very fast and price will drop 20-30€ like on note 9s which is 185€ for 4/64gb.
