Also i hope you realize that they are counting new activations, not new customers. I have had like 8 different Android phones myself over the years, so they count me as 8 activations, not 8 customers. It is pretty clear. Now do the math.

And I then did the math:
Let's say there are 8 billion people on earth. And since I don't know how many activations were up to this day I will assume there were 900.000 daily activations since Android's 1.5 release date.
8.000.000.000 / 900.000 = 8.889 days (24 years)
And even this number is too low, 30 years is more correct.

it's a shame. android is a very good OS, but the samsung warranty is very wack.
