Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 3 unveiled with 30,000 mAh capacity, 18 W output and 24 W input

12 June 2020
This external battery can charge three devices at the same time. It's big enough to charge a Mi 10 four and a half times.

Sort by:

The 24w charging can only be achieved by their chargers that aren't part of the package?

And 18w charging means the phones should be usb-pd charging?

AnonD-641645, 12 Jun 2020Bad news: that thing exceeds the flight friendly limit. Goo... moreCorrect. 100Wh is the limit you are allowed to carry in your flight. This battery has 111Wh. This battery is also too heavy to carry with you everywhere you go. You also can't leave your battery in the car during the summer because the heat buildup inside the car will shorten its life.

The price is actually amazing not just because the 30,000mah, but the charging capabilities. Most portables only fast charge or power delivery out of the type c port. Even in 30 to 50 dollar ones with lower capacities.
While this one charges fast out of all 3. Thats how it should be. Making you choose like that is utterly ridiculous and scamming.

Thats like ignoring the existence of the s10e to complain about the size of the s10 plus.

Amyway, it's really nice to have these power banks. A much better alternative to the ancient practice of carrying 2 batteries and switching them when needed.

I wonder if they will bring this to Europe and at what price. Probably around 35-40 euros?

I have 2 20,000mAh powerbank though i always only carry 1 around and 1 of them charges the phone really fast. So if i can cut it down to carrying just 1 of it, i will. But right now i won't buy it until 2 of them are dead, which will be a long time from now.

Anyway, there will be some 30k ( just saying) with less than 250g weight in 4-5 years, so it is better to wait

This is just way too big. There should be balance between portability and usability. Who would want to carry around a 500g (just a guess) power bank???

All items are welcome. Only that power bank of 30000mah should not be heavy as a brick. Make it lighter.

                                Good price.
