The battery in S9 is has very poor performance compared to most of the lower range smart phones. I was thinking is upgrading my phone with newer versions of galaxy phones but now I'm not sure with battery performance of these phones as well coz spending 3times more for a phones and end up buying a phone with poor battery performance is stupid ..

i still use my S9 and its sad that its the last update. i also have newer phones but i end up just using the s9 because its small, has a headphone jack and its good enough. sadly the bootloader is still locked so i can even flash lineageos on it...

need to improve battery.. a 100% with decent usage comes only 10 hrs.. that to keeping battery saving mode with less scren resolution.

Good news. I hope it get even more system updates. It's the last great flagship phone, no holes in the screen, has a headphone jack, it's not tablet-sized, I just adore mine.

It's still a great phone, back cameras are better than OP8 or Poco F2 pro, front camera isn't so good. Phone is quite fast, screen is really good, it has 3.5mm jack with good output, stereo speakers are solid etc.

The camera lacks an ultrawide but it still takes very good photos (specially if you install gcam, but even the stock is good) and specially for android it takes very good videos. Videos are great when compared to mid range phones like Galaxy a71. The best two parts of the phone are the snapdragon 845 which runs every game i throw at (even Emulators, 3ds and gamecube) and the screen. It's 60hz but the quality is amazing and it gets really bright. Basically it's a very good phone, but it shows it's age by missing an ultrawide and the "old" design, but for the price i still consider it a better choice than midrangers. (also the build quality is very good, and the dual speakers).
