Google Pixel 4a reportedly delayed until October, Barely Blue to be scrapped

Google is not yet ready to launch its next midrange Pixel phone, but why?

Android11 will be out somewhere in Sept/Oct 2020. Pixel phones get Android OS updates immediately after its release. So, If at all, Google plans to launch Pixel 4a in Oct 2020, it should come with Android 11 pre-installed and not Android10. Of course, as per Google policy, they will have to give 2-3 more OS updates to their Pixel phones.

    This will have following impact:
    - Iphone SE 2020 gets enough time to mint money in the segment of affordable compact phones.
    - One+8 siblings will gain market share ( specially in India)
    - Pixel4a and if Pixel 5 launches at same time in October 2020, will have least competition in the mid range segment ( provided one+8T siblings are not increasing their price tag)

    And if Xiaomi releases MiA4 as Android One phone by learning from A3 mistakes, then it will make its impact on sales of Pixels.

                what is pixel 4a? no one cares

                  Google will cancel the 4A and release the two midrange phones, Pixel 5/5XL by October.

                    I don't think Google should be sitting on a bunch of Snapdragon 730 phones.

                        Why hasn't even one considered that Google is delaying the Pixel 4a to launch it with Android 11 out-of-the-box, maybe directly as Pixel 5a.

                          How can a company as powerful like Google struggle so much?

                          If it isn't buggy flagship releases it delay after delays

                          Stick to mining and selling peoples data Google.
