          Well, this one won't blow the doors off the competition like the rog phone 2 did, I can only assume the decisions they made here are in the name of making more sales and keeping the price down.

            SNA1970, 16 Jun 2020come on it looks ugly .. the ROG II was waaaay better looking ...I mean, they toned gaming vibe down a little which is great so more people will buy it. Many of us want something that's really for gaming but the best ones are either too expensive or too aggressive gaming vibe.

So companies can shave a bit of battery off. No problem... As for the Red Magic 5G. Cameras are pretty good actually. But it's a gaming phone. I have a red magic. I occasionally use my camera. But not much. But one thing I use my phone for most of the time... Is gaming. Of course. Pubg at 90FPS... On my 90hz panel... Such a good phone. I love gaming phones. Will never ever go back to a normal phone. No way.

                  That is completely nuts. Although some how the standard 865 can get a score of 670,000 according to a community red magic site. So the 865+ should be able to outscore 640,000.

                  But that is a seriously impressive SoC. Everything about this phone is nutz... That's why I love gaming phones. That's why I own a gaming phone as a daily driver and especially for gaming. I cannot change to a normal phone... It has to be a gaming phone only.

                  Also. The Lenovo Legion will have 865+ too. Supposedly.

                    Overall, pretty good.

                    144hz is pretty useless (should’ve just kept it at 120hz coz only one one game supports 144hz, but whatever). But 144hz is still nice to have.

                    We can now see there’s triple cameras (cool, hopefully this will be the first gaming phone with somewhat usable cameras).

                    The speed is nice, 643K points on AnTuTu blows everything out of the water, and 16GB of RAM is insane. And as we’ve come to expect at this point - amazing software support from Asus too.

                    One downside is the battery capacity. They reduced it for some reason, from 6000mAh to 5800mAh. I get it - you might want space for something else, and 200mAh isn’t a big loss anyway (5800mAh is still massive, ez 7-8 hours) but it feels weird.

                    But even with that, my overall verdict with this phone is, like I said overall amazing.

                        Its not overclocked. It os running at a higher clock speed. There is a difference..
