in class software updates, and probably
            one of the best cameras.
All that regardless of the CPU.
I doubt that the HTC will achieve any of those things.

Once again a new HTC phone with probably a low quality LCD screen. They should launch a phone with an AMOLED screen if they want to increase their sales.

It's not a sinking ship, if a phone works if works, doesnt matter what brand it is. You are pathetic if the financial success of the brand your using makes you feel good.

I can't believe they left the headphone jack of the U20! That isn't quite a deal-killer, but it sure doesn't make the phone that attractive. No mention of stereo speakers or DAC either. It would have to be durable and inexpensive in order to compete.

Well, at least Desire 20 Pro looks neat and has good specs at least. No more HD or Mediatek stuff at least.

Anonymous, 16 Jun 2020You paying for whole phone not performance. Do not compar... moreMI has risen to be one of the top phone manufacturers in the world while HTC is one the worst performing phone manufacturers. They can't do that by launching crappy phones. Most of their phones are insane VFM with decent quality which is why they have sold so many handsets all over the world. There are plenty of cheaper Chinese manufacturers that haven't done well as they are only cheap and have poor quality hardware. And don't say quality doesn't sell cause Apple only has flagships and one budget model and they have set the charts on fire. And Samsung is also playing in the VFM field. HTC doesn't seem to have a clue whats going on and I will bet my last dollar that these two models will flop badly.
