why on earth is sony releasing so many phones at this rate like there is no tomorrow ?? they should better keep it tight and support them.. atleast take a look at htc about what resulted them last year doing same thing

This is a replacement for the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray. Just check the colors that it come in, as well as, the low end specs (5Mp Camera....)

Doing such a lot of buzz for a mid ranger was not a good idea. I took a look at the comments and Facebook users (just as me) are really disappointed about the lack of the Hayabusa/GX/SX, as well as for all this excitement for a tiny mid ranger. Create hype and then disappoint, a recipe for disaster. If this needed to be sold to Facebook users who fast forwarded the launch, Sony would sell no more than 10 units. Lame.

i have some thought about the sony design:
its like when sony ericsson release the first xperia series, they use the same spec, and with this sony can achieve the affordable handset because they use the same hardware, and the idea the same with the new xperia for affordable android phone.
just guess, this miro will have novathor like the xperia P,U,Sola, and I think the Xperia go will use the same novathor

Another GREAT phone from Sony
PS: Whats the problem if they release 20 phones per year, diversity means normally better prices and you can kids can stop crying and find out the right model for them, you know what I mean.

i really don't understand, Sony is releasing lot of phones looks the same sound the same all Xperia with different names, till when we will be not serprized with sony phones ... we need to see something new with different design different spes and enough with the Xperia name PLEASE ...

Anonymous, 13 Jun 2012it kinda looks like the toned down version of the xperia go... moreyeah, looks like the non-waterproof version of the active/go. I was expecting the international version of the GX. by December they'll have announced like 20 xperias.

a non-waterproof version of the go???? Sony is making very good mid-range smarphones better than any HTC or Samsung but they need an all-in-one superphone to get a good reputation to help the sales of the other devices
